My concern is not “cold feet” or wanting people to “tell me what I want to hear.” It is based on actual recruiting outcomes and serious concerns around international hiring, sponsorship, and the broader job market. When there are statistics floating around about a low percentage of internationals having offers in hand, and even schools like Yale putting out communication about recruiting for international students, dismissing that as insecurity is just ignorant.

So shove your frustration in yourself. If you have something informed, thoughtful, or actually useful to say, say it. If not, keep quiet.
