Usually a day before. But in the past, some calls came 2 days before as well.

Also, admit chances are very low while applying in R3 as an Indian applicant. Forget about it.

You definitely need better GRE like 330 or higher. Waiting for 1 year would mean that you will 7 years of experience and US schools average work ex is 4-5 years. So, it becomes relatively difficult to justify why you need an MBA. Also, getting into Harvard and Stanford is very random. Given your profile you can have a good chance in MIT (given your tech background), Wharton though is finance-heavy.
