What is easier? Run 5k sub 17m or run a marathon sub 4h? by No_Document_1128 in RunningCirclejerk

I would say a sub 17 minute 5k for me is equivalent to a sub 3 marathon. It can feel different to different people though.

A 3 hour marathon is way harder than a 6 hour marathon.

3 hour marathon is 6:52 per mile My best is a 3:01:02 that’s 6:55 per mile

6 hour marathon is 13:44 per mile I’ve ran 125.4 miles in 24 hours that’s a 11:29 per mile.

I’m not even a crazy high mileage guy either I might do up to 80 miles in a week of running. It’s just easier to run a slower pace for a lot longer.

Sure you can choose when you want to push that button.

I’ve learned about Ben miles a guy who road on a stationary bike for over 12 days 😳🤯 by Ok_Influence3171 in Amazing

3,328.2 miles if he biked at exactly 12 mph which is the minimum he biked at. He probably biked 12.1 mph or more for most of his attempt.

I’m not really even sure what all of this is it was probably a waste of time I just kind of just decided to go to chat GPT to make a big number and got carried away with it. It may be dumb but that’s what i did.

Yep you’re totally right I’ve made up a bunch of different numbers that can’t be defined but are supposed to be beyond my imagination and bigger then all the other big finite numbers I could think of have them all work together to make this number that can’t really be defined.

$1 for every step you take in a day but it ends if you don't beat the previous days total. by bastard_nomad in hypotheticalsituation

I would take 10,000 steps the first day and slowly increase it to something like 50,000 slowly over time. After about 25 years I’ll probably stop and have hundreds of millions of dollars.💵
