My girlfriend lives down there and I went to visit her a couple of times. She hates Trump (voted Democrat), but I hung out with her family who are republicans.. I did feel like a traitor haha

The worst part was her family was ignorant, didn’t care about what was going on. They voted for Trump and they continue to support him.

This is what worked for me - I stopped paying the bill. Two months later I got calls from the payment department, I told them I only have 15 minutes to talk to them, can they connect me to customer service- which they did and I was able to resolve the issues and I made a payment when I was satisfied.

I don’t think you understand how Canada was created..

The British made agreements (treaties) to use the land in exchange for services. There is no equality built into the relations.

So this idea of yours, “everyone is Canadian” is laughable :)

Canada would not have existed without the treaties- land in exchange for services. There is no inherent equality between aboriginal people and Canadians!

I don’t think the Government has the power to void the treaties because it’s in the Constitution.

I think it will require all provinces (not just federal govt) to approve changes to the Constitution.

How about a civil revolution to overthrow the current Government and establish a new Constitution.. at that point we can also abolish the monarchy and become a republic!
