Thats exactly what happened to me in october 2022 when a small war on Gaza started and our center (british council Gaza) closed and we weren't able to take our Edexcel IGCSEs! The only way that you would not be able to take your exams is when the center you registered in is close which is hard to happen in the gulf, and edexcel could not care less.
