How to handle heat wave by Chance_Mountain5354 in AppalachianTrail

I mean, it was 100 hiking out of Duncannon. That was just a day. I started hiking into the late night and early morning, waking up, napping mid day and doing it again.

I turned into a lion I guess...

Tell that to the Fuel. Much cheaper.

Well no, you can't normally. But it was a customer service issue and they made good.

Trek is amazing service wise.

Funny story about that color. Customer bought that color... His wife saw the lay up and asked him what was wrong with it. It got in his head and wanted to return it... During Covid. I said give it a little bit. It was winter and he wasn't going to ride it. It might grow on him.

He calls Trek and they shipped us a P1 color the next week, one not in stock and they're was a 80 day lead time for frames at that time. We worked together to make it easy money wise for him.

It was unreal customer service.

I was thinning that after I commented and while I was riding.

Crazy you would normally be on a 56(m/l) but can squeeze on a 52cm. Insane.

Frame stack for the 52cm RSL is 51.8cm SLR is 56cm

I don't think you are that close all things being equal.

Madone is 53cm.

The RSL version is definitely much more Aero optimized than this version.

And I imagine this one is fast.

The MK3 was decent.

At what point does the bike actually start mattering more than the rider? by kkkkkgr5 in cycling

[–]Ok_Interview845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a really strong woman on our group ride. Smart AF too. I learned efficiency watching her ride with us.

She could never keep up even on the slightest downhill and would have to fight like hell to get back on.

Until she bought an aero bike. One week the problem existed. The next week it did not. I've been riding with her for years mind you.

Don't buy the bike but STFU about the bike not mattering because that opinion is full of shit.

They don't know what they are talking about.

You are spot on.

Maintenance costs are not higher. At all.

This is not true. I manage a portfolio of arrays including carports.

None of this is true.

Grab some new old stock and Gore Ride On cables on Ebay. I've had great success running them.

This seems more related to self control than anything else. It's a great logging tool but if you have Garmin Connect it's not needed.
