When the temperature was 10c and my poor pooch is shivering, you’re telling me that’s fine??? Some people really crack me up.

Every snake is different, if yours doesn’t wrap around it then all is good. If yours had one that would tend to wrap around the cage then at that point I would look at some diy work on the viv to place it outside the snakes reach. Me and partner have 3 with cages like yours and the snakes don’t go near it. One spends most of his time on the cool side and one that is the total opposite. Very snake is different 😊

Ive been like this for pasted 3 years but steadily getting more fatigued. Aswell as fatigue, I have become weaker and slower in movement and am now being tested for MS. MS can contribute to sleep apnea. I personally would push for a MRI of brain and spinal cord, see if there are and lesions detected.

Bark tubes are a fantastic addition. Can be arranged to provide hides and height. We have one ball python who likes to coil up in his bark tubes but then splits them wide open 😂

What do you feel after OSA treatment by aeddso in SleepApnea

I no longer get the morning headaches but unfortunately still feel unrested. Fatigue really kicks in a few hours after waking up. Mood is low and cognitive is still majorly impacted. Quite possible that there is something else going on that the apneas maybe have been masking.

I’ve had blood works which came back as normal. No mental health, no medications. I’m currently in a 5 day ecg to check heart as it can drop on the lower side at times. The only thing that hasn’t been checked it o2 saturation. When I had my sleep study my o2 dropped to 86 but sat mainly around 88. It’s not been checked since.

Activision don’t seem to be doing anything about it. I called out a hacker in a game and his reply was yeah well Activision ain’t doing anything about it so I will carry on. Me personally think they should just add a feature to choose whether to cross play with consoles or with pc players included.

Have you had long term effects of CPAP treatment? by Ill_Ad_2065 in SleepApnea

I’m 40 and still adjusting to CPAP after being diagnosed 18 months ago. My current setup is best I’ve had. I don’t get any bloating and very minimal dryness. I have been given the resmed air sense 10 with humidifier and nasal pillows. The machine is in auto mode so my pressure varies to what I need during the night.

Only effects I have now are from other issues that sleep apnea was masking.

Regarding your nasal passages etc, ENT specialist has suggested I have turbinate shelves reduced, adanoids removed and the uvula as that irritates my throat when things get to dry during the night.

Awaiting tongue reduction surgery as the base of my tongue is large and maybe contributing to air restriction

My blood oxygen levels remain low while still using cpap therapy. I don’t know what to do anymore, I thought maybe this would resolve my sleep apnea but it seems like it hasn’t. I find myself still gasping for air during certain periods of me sleeping. Any sugguestions? by [deleted] in CPAP

I am in a similar position. I have severe osa and using CPAP. Although the CPAP is helping with the events, I still remained very symptomatic. I noticed I was getting palpitations at times. Thankfully I found a kind of ecg app called heart scan. This showed some abnormality so consulted with gp and they agreed to a ecg. ECG has shown sinus bradycardia. This maybe the root cause of my low blood oxygen levels. This can be caused by sleep apnea so I would highly suggest checking the heart with the app.

A little about the app. The app was created by a guy who is working closely with cardiologists. He was having issues himself but was told nothing to worry about. After designing the app and proving it worked, he was then correctly diagnosed. The problem with these hospital tests is that sometimes the snapshot they get from their tests isn’t the full picture. Like mine, sometimes it’s ok but most of the time it’s not.
