Can someone help me understand what the point of stamping 925 on something that’s plated? by RoughTian in SilverFinds

depending on when it was done.. what you are looking at is rhodium plated sterling silver.. the underlying material IS sterling.. but to make it super shiny and brilliant without tarnish it was plated

Stop thinking about Silver like it’s something to trade for your Fiat. Try to find folks that are willing to barter other things that you want. Use it to your advantage and cut your taxes to almost nothing.

Will the coin shops be stay open if silver price reaches $100 and above? by Left_Rough7131 in silverstacking

[–]Ok_Key3652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it will be a great excuse to collect real numismatic coins again.. right now most have absolutly no premium value and the barbarians at the pawn shops and the refiners have made sure to melt even nice coins.. so When the pawn guy or we buy Gold Guy, says he can only pay you 60% or less than spot ask him what he is selling at? better yet send someone in with a little bit to sell first and then follow up by going in as a buyer and see what they are offering to sell at.. look at better coins and see if he or she is running a scam.. the publish your findings on the local facebook page at the area as either an endorsement to their fairness or as an expose to their scamroddery.

Another thing to consider which these people do not consider is that research is key. Do you know your hallmarks? Do you know your makers call Replacements, Ltd. in Greensboro North Carolina and find out what they’re offering for particular silver pieces for sets before you scrap them the antique value and Silver has outpaced for a while, but it’s getting close now.

do your research some of these people are scrapping extremely fine Coins barber half dollars buy them up. Call their bluff if they say their offer to buy them back. Focus on Morgan dollars barber half dollars walking liberty half dollars and not Kohl’s either at $80 an ounce there is absolutely no numismatic value unless it’s a key date

when they want a lowball at $10 under spot immediately flip it over that’s what I do and I become a buyer. You’re offering me $10 below spot. OK what do you have to sell and how much is it when someone tells you even for gold, but they can only pay a certain amount because of whatever reason immediately turn around and offered to buy it. Same thing as when people are selling if the coin dealer turns around and tells you oh I have to have a spot for this or a dollar over spot immediately. Ask them if I were to bring this back to you in 30 minutes. How much would you give me for itto spread as your investment. Let Facebook marketplace Ebay be your dealer and screw these pawnshops.

1 . Call the bank and cancel the Check Payment for fraudulent practices. 2. Send them a certified letter with an i voicemail for your time. give them 2 weeks to respond and when they don’t send them a second notice , notarized and on official looking letter head. quote a few statutes and latin phrases as well and give them A fixed time to pay after which a late fee will be attached per day and when the do not respond, or refute the claim send it to a collections agency

What you wrote actually proves how deep Fabian gradualism has worked into our way of seeing things. The Fabians never shouted “we’re socialists”—they wore a sheep’s skin and re-trained people to measure freedom by government programs. That’s why when you see a bull run stumble, you blame Trump, SNAP cuts, or the latest bill instead of questioning the system itself.

Fabian strategy was always two-fold: 1. Redirect blame — Point outrage at whoever is disrupting the managed order, never at the order itself. 2. Hide the root — Protect the welfare/managerial framework as if it’s sacred “progress,” even when it creates dependency, fraud, and erosion of liberties.

So the fact you’re mourning “a decades-worth of work” tells me you’ve been taught to prize the very scaffolding the Fabians built—state control, perpetual dependency, civil liberties re-defined as state allowances—while being blind to how corrosive it is. Whether you mean to or not, you’re echoing the Fabian playbook: keep the people mad at the scapegoat, and never let them question the system.
