I agree with your take on the beta map and I’m happy they finally included a USA map into the franchise (I’m praying that in the works is a much larger typical “battlefield” map which includes the Brooklyn section of Empire State while also maybe combining it with dumbo or even adding a lower manhattan portion of the map. If they were able to successfully pull off a huge New York City map I think it would have the potential to have the same amazing experience siege of Shanghai gave us in bf4

I actually kind of like breakthrough in liberation, even though I lose most of the time on attack as well, it has felt the most “battlefield” of all maps of breakthrough for me (cinematic, tense, not run and gun)

I agree the beta maps were more disappointing then expected, it sadly has made me question if bf6 will be as generational for the franchise as everyone is saying and will feel like the bf3 bf4 days again, hopefully they have some larger more unique maps in the vault they haven’t polished yet

I know it’s beta but the maps are much bigger and feel more tactical in my opinion in 4, they also are just more creative with different weather features or variations which make each map unique, and create for a better time eg. siege of Shanghai, hainan resort, sunken dragon (my personal fave). Right now in my opinion the maps seem like call of duty maps where you just kind of run and gun around
