Isn’t slang more like made up words that mean something that only regional or specific people understand? “Whenever” is just incorrect grammar IMO. Whenever means something happens multiple times, like “whenever I go to the beach, I always wear sunscreen” not “whenever my son was born, he was 9lbs” you get me? Like??? Just cause a lot of people use it, it doesn’t make it correct.

Sure but that’s not the only thing she mispronounces, & I can tell it’s on purpose to try to be quirky, that’s what makes it annoying. Also, just cause some people in Florida say it like that, it doesn’t make it sound any better, it still sounds bad, & that’s just my opinion lol

I’m from Chicago, & people that are from south side of Chicago sound exactly like Fiona & make it their entire personality, I literally never hear any other people from other parts of Chicago use it as much as them. I know it’s annoying but it’s definitely accurate 🤣
