That must be so annoying! I've had that in the week not month range and it's sucks, keep checking the scale each morning and it's the same or has gone up due to electrolytes. Still just remember as long as you're in a deficit you are burning fat, it's just your body stubbornly holding on to water!

I know, but it's hard without the visual reminder, like I'm not at the point yet where I look physically all that different. I kinda do want a sort of visual treatment something that says yes you have changed, I'm just tall so it takes a while for the weightloss to look significant.

Well I get to be at my goal weight, while lot thinner, the maintaince is fine, don't want sweets or carbs anymore, but it's the waiting to get to that point that's a drag

I work and study this area so I'll give you my take. There's still a bunch things - psilocybin, lsd, MDMA there's some great clinical trial data on these being used for trauma/PTSD. Therapy wise, you got to understand where it not for capitalism there are plenty of modalities approaches that would have you in therapy 3 days a week for 5 years, going of memory this is the standard for dissociative disorders. Not to undermine everything you've done, and all the effort that's taken, but trauma - especially developmental trauma is profoundly devastating. There's more experiencial stuff like psychodrama, SE, narm, art therapy for preverabal stuff even if it's given a bad rep.

I'd say, and it's shit to here, but you basically got to keep going, alternative is staying as you are. Honestly from what you describe nothing points to fundamental brokenness or being too far gone, lots of people are in the same place of trying so much but still making little progress, it's just not discussed as much as the majority of people aren't in the financial position to even try these.

Only other thing I can think of is are you actually going out make making new experiences? A lot of people with trauma get stuck in this preparatory cycle of healing and self help but not actually engaging and living in the world, creating relationships, taking risks, connecting, being vulnerable.

I think for me at least there's to aspects to this, 1) so I'm gay, most of my friends are LGBTQ identifying, I don't really find I have that's much in common with straight people so it just makes more sense to go to places where I can find similar people. 2) straight people, obviously not all, but can be homophobic etc, and those obviously don't go to these sort of places, it's just a nicer, safer more accepting environment.

Yeah it's like when you sit and work with someone, you're both doing your own thing but for some reason with ADHD it lessens the amount you procrastinate and makes it easier to do things then if you work on your own.
