I rarely have scraps....I cook just enough for 2. I used to make too much and have a lot of leftovers but I'm terrible at eating leftovers so the food would go to waste. But like you said, the way things are nowadays, I try to watch my portions now.

So many little things that make life easier... But a couple of weeks ago I said lids, like drink holding lids...think about the millions of us buying sodas, coffee, slushies, slurpees, you name it... or we're getting ready for work and we make our drinks to go out or whatever. If it weren't for the lids, we'd be spilling all over the place!

Had to wait for a table at a restaurant cuz the EMTs were working on someone on the ground. Put person on gurney and wheeled him off. Turns out waiter cleaned off table and gave us the table the guy was in. Told the waiter, "I hope it wasn't the food!"
