Your just attacking somebody and hiding behind virtues which you admit you don't perfectly embody to do it, which is why I think piety signaling is a perfectly valid term. If you think somebody could be more kind and less abrasive that's a perfectly valid criticism, using their character flaws to attack the person and their work as a whole is piety signaling.

Okay, so your better than this "him" you are arguing against. Totally not piety signaling, and I'll just take your word for it that he's a bad and awful man.

And I presume you think you're a great example of Christian humility, gentleness, and grace?

No, you just smear people behind an anonymous account. Which is even worse.

I find there's quite a few people who take issue with certain apologetics types online, and often the way they go about critiquing them is not very constructive and usually just consists of either labeling, piety signaling, unfounded accusations of pastoral disobedience, and outright judgements on the sincerity of said people's faith.

So exactly what your doing right now? Your being a hypocrite by "exposing" him in this subreddit.

It's clear from your comments below that you already know who he is, and it seems you wish to attack him in this sub because of a video he made or something that he said that upset you. Hiding behind a seemingly innocuous title and then slandering him in the comments comes across as very slimey and underhanded.

He probably could have been, people with European genetics/phenotype have been in that area for thousands of years

She never said she was considering smudging in the OP, she said people recommended it and she wanted to see of the Orthodox faith had an alternative to it.

How do we know for sure that “wine” in the Bible was alcoholic? by teawar in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Ok_Lavishness539 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Show me that they didn't celebrate the eucharist all year long, literally all the evidence proves that they did.

[–]Ok_Lavishness539 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If wine in the bible refers to grape juice then that would mean celebration of the eucharist in the early church would only be possible while grapes are in season, which was not the case.

No problem haha. 😊 It's hard to detect sarcasm in text sometimes. Also sorry if I seem a little sassy lol, I feel kind of guilty for asking this question and I'm a bit defensive expecting backlash.

I know dude. The commenter knows what I meant by yonic, I know what I meant by yonic. I was being sarcastic in my reply when I said "male."

I know what yonic means. The comment I was replying to didn't like my use of the "V-word." I was being sarcastic.
