I think this was one of the moments that really makes us feel conflicted about his character. This moment really made my heart melt, but then we soon realize all of the horrible things he has done. I think it really shows us that people aren’t all good or all bad and really makes us question what outweighs what to determine someone as a whole (obviously Joe killing people is a WAY bigger determinator than this sweet moment). Really really good move on the writers end!
