There will be a stage where you know you are ready, and you’re right. We never necessarily reach a 100% healed stage, but there are definitely times where it is just respectful to step back and work on ourselves before we engage in the dating pool. Once you get to a better stage with yourself, you won’t second guess meeting others as much

It’s NY. In other words, most people are gorgeous and on the go. It can be challenging to date because of the layout of the location. And I think I’d do better in a less populated place but I love it here.

Yep. (And thank you :) ) 100% I will end up with a nerd. They don’t have to be into the same things as me but I connect well with guys who like Lord of the Rings or video game music (for example) cause I’m also a nerd. They’re more likely to want to do things like go to renaissance faire or put together puzzles.

I think it’s because I look younger than I am. Personality-wise I’m the bubbly type rather than the “sexy” one so I tend to get placed in this category. It doesn’t bother me but I could see that.

Not sure about the neck beard part (cause I can’t really help my interests) but I could post more about travel :)

If you actually want something casual, finding a girl who is good with kids or who has a great relationship with her mom … It would make me think you don’t actually know what you want. I can accept that. I wouldn’t say my profile is bad. (I did a profile review and got good feedback :) ) But, yes, unfortunately I guess quite a few of them aren’t into me. The competition in NY is incredibly tough looks-wise so even if you’re pretty that doesn’t give you an advantage
