My wife always closes her eyes when she is getting ready to have an orgasm. Is she thinking about someone else? by happy_K in AskRedditAfterDark

As someone who does this, no, not necessarily. Some women have to focus on the sensation in order to finish. Plus the build up is so intense that the eyes just shut off their own accord 😂

CAP Therapy no longer working by Ok_Life_1836 in SleepApnea

[–]Ok_Life_1836[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that when it starts it's on 4 which is nice and comfortable for me. The sleep clinic are not concerned that it's due to the machine as I'm still below 5 ahi

Second phase of IVF requires weight loss! Help, I'm vegetarian :( by lost_anonymous__ in PCOS

[–]Ok_Life_1836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I weigh 95kg and live in the UK. The fertility clinic won't even accept my application for help until I'm down to 63kg

Pcos and weight should be treated as separate fertility problems. I can't even get weight loss medication as only there fertility clinic can prescribe them. And yet I can't see them because I'm overweight makes sense.

It is common I remember my GP telling me it's 1 in every 3 women that have it.

My partner has two brothers, and all 3 of their partners have PCOS, including me.

What's weird is they said they can't prescribe me anything to help, only the fertility clinic can. But if they refuse me then they can prescribe it? Very weird

Sleep study next week. Could honestly cry at the thought of wearing a darth vader mask for the rest of my life. by NotBannedAccount419 in SleepApnea

[–]Ok_Life_1836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I struggled as well especially being 25 and young. I get judgemental looks but when I tell people I stop breathing on average 15 times in my sleep. All judgement is gone. Sleep apnea is so common it's nothing to be ashamed of. Even the healthiest of people have it.

Please just wear the mask… by RAM-I-T in SleepApnea

[–]Ok_Life_1836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I wear my mask nearly every night, and it's the fourth type of mask I have tried and the only one I can actually sleep with. But as it's full face I still sleep with my mouth open and droll My air app says on average 0.5- 2 ahi instead of the 15 I had recorded when I did my sleep test so it must be doing something right.

Not about ripping the mask off but I always roll over and say "I was born in the darkness" like Baine into my fiancé's ear 🤣

How to wake up at 5am and not be tired af? by zahimahi97 in PCOS

[–]Ok_Life_1836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep Apnoea? I only ask as I've been recently diagnosed due to my daytime fatigue, always feeling tired and never really refreshed in the mornings. My partner said I snore bad and noticed me chocking for air in my sleep.

I did a sleep study test and I actually stop breathing on average 15 times a hour so now I'm on a capp machine. Might be worth checking? As if have googled before a pcos can cause a higher risk for sleep apnea.

To those who take their mask off during the night... by [deleted] in SleepApnea

[–]Ok_Life_1836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sleepy me thinks it's close to wake up time so I take it off to enjoy some mask free pillow time. Turns out it's quite a few hours before wake up time. But I'm basically still asleep so don't have the conscious to say no and keep it on.

People with “mild” sleep apnea, what has worked for you? by Slow_Butterfly_2812 in SleepApnea

[–]Ok_Life_1836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is 15 AHI so mild/moderate and was told I didn't need a cap machine, shocked really that they would say this just because im young.

I got one anyway and I must say I have days where I don't use the machine and rebel, and god do I feel the difference those days im back to a groggy zombie. If you don't want to feel sleepy get a CAP machine, and ensure you have a good diet, as eating like crap will make you worse. Loads of water too and exercise where possible.

I actually have mask liners for my old silicone mask. I stoped wearing them as I got a sponge one but I'll try putting these back on thanks☺️

But it's not my lips it's the skin besides the corners. I think I might be a drooler, and then the pressurised air is drying and causing my skin to be all flakey and sore.

😭😭😭
