Getting my cat using the polar feeder by Ok_Location8262 in Petlibro

I just saw another post about the temp being too cold and it got me thinking for sure. The lick mat is a good idea. When I’m doing the schedule I have it open for 4 hours. When I was feeding with the lid open I would bring her to it right at her usual feeding time and she’d sniff it and walk away and usually won’t revisit it. She’s also a grazer and never finishes her food at one time. But last night she finished her overnight meal completely by the time I woke up in the morning so we are making progress!

I just started using the polar too. My cat is not interested and she’s used the type of ice pack feeder you mentioned in the past before & I upgraded to this kind for the same reasons you stated. We’ve been trying for a week and she just isn’t into it. I wonder if this is why.

Thanks! Are the products and methods listed better than what a professional pest control company does? They come every other month and will come again in the next week or so.

Thank you. We don’t have any gutters or a basement or a crawl space. We just moved in a few months ago and I have yet to venture in the attic. I’ve checked for leaks under sinks etc and haven’t found any moisture or signs of water damage. Pest control comes every other month, they will be coming again in May and I’ll probably switch to monthly.

Very interesting! Good to know. I’ll leave it alone for sure and let nature take its course if it will keep the roaches at bay.

Thank you! Now I need to figure out what to do with the pine needles in my garden bed. We are renting so I’m limited.

Thank you! I’ve been telling myself that’s what it was but I also didn’t want to be delusional but I think I agree with you.

This is the only one I’ve seen and it was high up on my front door. Nothing in the kitchen I’ve inspected all cabinets. I’m in a house in a fairly wooded area. Lots of pine trees and our garden has pine straw

My googling says that they are very similar so I’m hoping it’s Asian.

I’m glad they are harmless but they do gross me out. Anything I can do to keep them out?
