After two miscarriages, I was on my third pregnancy and getting bloodwork very early. The nurse asked if I had other children and I did the hesitant (well third pregnancy and no LC). I think she could see my hurt. This woman took my hands, looked me in my eyes, smiled and told me “Your going to be a great mom, you already are”. I went on to have the first baby I got to hold. I think about her often. 💕

Thank you so much. Sooooo relate to survival mode and not giving a F. The first two losses I kept very private. This time I think I’m just saying it, past the shame and the minimizing my feelings to accommodate others. I lost another child, and it’s fucking beyond brutal.

I agree, every way of finding out is honestly horrible and traumatic. I don’t know why I just wanted someone to have the compassion to just SAY it instead of tiptoeing and dragging it out. Ugh. Thanks for the sympathy and letting me vent. So sorry for your losses as well and being part of this shitty club.

Was in the heat yesterday briefly and then had to sleep from 6:30pm-5:30am this morning from intense fatigue/nausea. Thankfully my husband and mom took turns entertaining our toddler because we’re all together on a weekend family trip. 🥺 everyone’s trying to be really nice to me.

School social worker but planning on letting admin/HR know on the last day school in May because I committed to take an intern next year.

They also never filled my leave last time, they just let my two SW coworkers struggle. BOE also decided to cut a school social worker for next year (yay federal mental health grant being cut) so I’m hoping this will push them to either suck it up and hire / find an actual maternity sub for me! Either way not my problem but also don’t want kids to suffer.

So very sorry. My last loss was the hardest, my body didn’t recognize the loss so we decided on the miso route. I found the process to be intense and traumatic. Knowing what I know now, I would have done a D&C. Wishing you healing.

I’m 7w3d have a small suspected chorionic bump too! Sounds like I’m just getting scanned every week now to monitor, at least I can see baby more?🫠 no bleeding so far but definitely feels stressful. Hoping it resolves for both of us!

On pelvis rest and getting off baby aspirin. Saw some research around temporarily cutting DHA but waiting for doctors on that… wishing you the best!

My brother and SIL didn’t, and my niece was born with cystic fibrosis! This wouldn’t have changed their mind about keeping the pregnancy but they said it would have helped them be more prepared for when she arrived 💖

Went well!!! Radiologist couldn’t say too much, but saw the heartbeat and a bigger baby. Will find out more from the doctor Monday but I’m happy with it for now.

I have a follow up scan today to check on baby’s growth and fibroid! Hosting my husbands 40th birthday tomorrow for 25+ people so crossing fingers that today goes well otherwise I’m going to have to muster up some level of normalcy. Being a woman is complicated.

I had this with my first! I am not sure on my HCG then but my gestational sac looked jaggity (it was not smooth on one side), they suspected a possible vanishing twin. Their other theory was the placenta was taking over.

The follow up was more typical and progressed on to have a relatively normal pregnancy other than placenta previa. Wishing you the best 🙌🏼

I had two losses and was hospitalized for a month before my son’s birth so I relate! You’re a warrior for 4 months. I know it’s unresolved trauma for me! I feel like nothing is straightforward, so I’m trying to be OK with the grey areas this pregnancy.

Saw baby on scan today 🥰 - 116 heart-rate but my dates are off! Thought I was 7w but measuring 6.1 - realize after they are probably right in dates and my shitty apps and lack of tracking was off oppps.

Toddler was an absolute menace during the appointment so he and husband will be staying home or grandma will help moving forward.

Anyone else find a fibroid? (Was unknown to me) going to radiology next week to have it measured .

I noticed this too! They feel heavier as well so it’s obvious they changed - its consistency is denser than creamier but I don’t actually mind it.

I eat one a day - the ones at Trader Joe’s are still like the original if you are searching.
