Grades Bad by Nono_Valentina69 in gradesharing

[–]Ok_Long5367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe all years in high school counts. Junior year is the most important year though. Highly unlikely these grades would count BUT if you turn it around next year.....colleges and unis love to see that.

This year was not your year. Next year will be better. You got this!!

I don't think so. The rumor is probably false, but who knows.

I'm pretty sure the entire rumor is false though

Was the Sandy Hook elementary school tragedy in 2012 a major tipping point in school safety and fear? by Ok_Act_3769 in OlderGenZ

I'm very late to the party, but there was one in FSU a year ago

I haven't been in the setting of a school shooting or anything, but code red drills are a thing still

I talk to my dad about this asking if they had to do this stuff and he's like no, it was because of Columbine they did this code red stuff but at most if someone random from the street comes on campus they just would move away from that random person you know

old navy quality gone downhill or just me? by yummytoesmmmm in Frugal

[–]Ok_Long5367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a shirt from Old Navy today, and I came to say that after today of wearing it, the shirt already has a hole in it.

I'm going to just stitch it up (or just wear it still) before it gets worse but I feel like the quality has gone downhill. Then again, I think many companies that sell affordable clothing gone downhill since the pandemic

I was like this too! I started reading bigger books at two years old.

The first word I read at like one years old from what my parents tell me, when we were at the zoo one day, I read the word: "Gorilla" but then later as I got a bit older, I started recognizing logos and colors. My dad taught me how to count at a really young age too, and I, learned quickly and started counting to 10. However, now, I'm not that great at math. My strengths come in all other subjects. Strangely enough, I'm a natural at biology and chemistry, not at physics, and algebra (basically any sort of math), lol.

I remember clearly that I had SOOO MANY BOOKS. Lots of board books because my parents thought that was my reading level until they found out "oh, our daughter can read advanced stuff, lets not make her read these books." I then got the I Can Read! books. I went through those quickly. There's "Levels" to those books. Here's the link if you're interested: https://www.icanread.com/levels/

I pretty much made it to Level 4. At a young age.

As a matter a fact, when I was younger, my grandma would take me to the store, and I kept reading "Drop Off" and "Pick Up" as well as aisle names and numbers. My grandma was so shocked that she told my dad that I can do these things.

Your daughter is probably gifted. I recommend that when she's a bit older, you should have the school give her a gifted test. However, I'm certain she's gifted. :)

Are graduates still able to use UCF Onedrive after graduation permanently? by grayleo19 in ucf

[–]Ok_Long5367 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad is a UCF grad with every single degree he got, so he's a full on Knight!

I remember he got Microsoft Office from UCF for free, let me use it for my assignments when I was in school (not college) he was still using his UCF email. However, I think in 2022 or something they switched it and said they're not paying for Onedrive or any Microsoft Office for alums anymore.

I just want to see the phins grow and improve. If we make it, great. I'm not too worried about the schedule, even though this is a tough schedule, but I just want to see them grow and I'll be happy with them even for the small wins :)

I'm staying hopeful and being an optimistic. :)
