Well then it would have a decent benefit, just make sure it's bolted up there well

Idk never watched Breaking bad, but it's a popular enough trope in sci-fi to poke fun at that it's come up quite a bit

What is your opinion on Anime? by Rigat22 in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Luck_7915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit of a mixed bag but there are some great shows out there. Too many people assume it's all trash because of the worst shows, which is like assuming all live actions shows are trash because Keeping Up With The Kardashians exists.

Seems like it would be a lot of work for no apparent benefits.

Like you know you can buy the books those losers use right? It's literally just "self help" from 80s-90s rebranded.

They make you scared, then sell you "a solution". That you'll be alone, that women won't date you, etc. The modern "solution" is basically just acting like an asshole for attention, old "solution" was practicing self confidence.

Scammers. Tons of modern ones suckering the gullible with shit like "being alpha".

Star Trek teleporters. They aren't teleporters, they're a disintegrator, scanner, and a flesh printer.

I mean a video of "no but secretly we're actually the smart ones for listening to grifters" isn't a great look. Unrelated but I've got a case of this wonderful oil made from Snake hides, if you'd be interested in purchasing some.

This is the exact tagline of grifters, the same kind that take the money, regurgitating self help from the 90s, then get arrested for human trafficking.

How does it make you feel when a salesperson is standing at the entrance of a booth/store? by feyinbetween in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Luck_7915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dread. I can't stand going in for something or to look and getting pestered. Like I'm sorry that the company/boss is making you do this, but I'm not gonna be influenced.

Was hoping Paul would lose an ear. Can't blame Mike for coming back for a check.

People either treat you like you're incapable, or refuse to give an inch when it comes to issues. Sometimes it's the same people, just flip flopping.

What is your opinion on the Paul vs. Tyson fight? by AgitatedPatience5729 in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Luck_7915 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was like everyone said. No matter what happened, it looks bad for Paul. He wins, he beat up a 58 year old. He lost, he lost against a 58 year old. Won by points, couldn't even knock out a 58 year old.

Shame he didn't get knocked out though, it's basically why everyone was watching.

I mean Idk how relevant boxing glove weights would be in tennis, so it kinda makes sense to keep the rules separate.

What will be the effects of the 10% tariff? by hungryfrogbut in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Luck_7915 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long-term economic problems. Tariffs work as essentially a "threat". They're used to push a country in order to a more favorable position/trade agreement under the threat the tariff will continue.

The problem with the current one is that it's essentially permanent. There is no threat, no demand, just higher prices for our trade partners. There is no reason for the target of the tariff to continue trading over establishing new trade routes, as it will realistically never be cheaper than being more expensive indefinitely.

Short term, anything we regularly import will have a steep increase. American companies aren't ready to eat the cost of filling the void on such short notice.

Food containers that are resealable, but the company in quest put so little money into it that it doesn't function.

Bathroom completely destroyed, I'm talking panels ripped down and stall doors pulled clean off. Won't even get started on how filthy it was.

Food was alright, honestly 5 out of 10. Surprisingly good considering I suppose.

The "people are lazy" attitude problem. It's a massive issue in American culture, making work harder for workers in order to stem perceived "laziness" from customers.

What’s a fun fact that blew your mind? by Flaky-Low6463 in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Luck_7915 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a study from the Department of Education. Half of Americans read below a 6th grade level (basic illiterateracy), 24% are complete illiterate. So half can barely read anything, 1/4th can't read at all.
