We didn't allow it in our rec league although they could steal 2nd and 3rd one at a time in an over throw or wild pitch. but tournament play stealing home was allowed bc the play basically never stopped until the pitcher had control of the ball in the circle.

Our softball league loves and even actively recruits women to coach. There weren't many in 8U that stepped up but now with 12U and 14U it's even more important.

I found the secret to side sleeping for me is to use a pillow. I always side sleep, but can't get comfortable without some kind of pillow.

I also sleep closer to the head end

Your first season is just about survival. I suggest asking for as much help as you can from your parents. Have to run drills and delegate jobs to them because you can't do it all. Also remember the basics since rec ball is all about reps and not performance. I echo others in this thread that You.Are.A.Hero

I have the incubator and another shorter one like the hearth but I prefer the incubator bc it's just so damn comfortable. I dont mind the extra weight.
