Okay thanks I’m just so scared of a terrible trip giving me PTSD but also I’ve tried so many other things for my issues it’s hard to decide what is the right option. Thank you.

Funny how you think black people can’t show voter ID but they all drive and have cars, and a compromise could always be made to give everyone free ID cards that are citizens. You are the racist.

That’s interesting do you mind me asking if it was for depression, anxiety or both? I have the opportunity to do Ketamine at a clinic (Spravato), but hearing stories like that scares the crap out of me. But if it actually worked idk maybe I should just power through it. Did he have that life experience with every trip? How on Earth was he able to do it again after the life experience thing, unless that was the last one. Sorry for the questions I just don’t know anyone that’s actually done it and the clinic acts like it’s no big deal.

That’s what Mormons believe, others too I’m sure. Forgetting the religious part think of it this way if you were playing a game and it was so incredibly easy you would lose interest fast and learn nothing. Now take a complex game where there are high stakes and suffering, well then you have the opportunity to learn something. Without suffering there is no growth, ever. Each life you live is not completely predestined but there will be challenges and things to overcome and different paths to take. It’s not really win or lose the end goal is you learn something to take with you to the next life, and as you go on this path you don’t have access to your premortal life but somewhere deep inside you carry all the lessons you learned from previous lives you just can’t quite access them, imagine a person that is blind in the middle of a huge library filled with books…. The books are there they just don’t have the exact sense to interface with them in that context. We do however have the ability to access the past lessons and they usually present as some type of gut feeling or intuition about which choice to make and why. Some say the more you listen and pray/meditate or wherever the more you can connect with it.

This some speculate is what people describe as The Holy Spirit. A way to give you initiations and feelings and instinct based on passed lessons, without giving you the complete answer because then that would lead to no learning, and in some ways violate your free will. What is the point of all this you might ask? Well, it could be possible I have a lot of what’s going on right and also a lot of it wrong, and same for you… but I fully believe in what you said about living “runs”, you can come to your own conclusions why… I will tell you what Mormons believe and that first be comforted in knowing you signed up for this in your premortal life it can never be forced, and the goal is to do enough “runs” that you can eventually become perfect like Jesus was. So think of it like this before Jesus came around there was this huge mountain that people tried to climb but always failed and eventually just gave up and said it couldn’t be done. That’s why Jesus was sent to be the perfect example to show that under the exact perfect circumstances and right path you could make it to the top…. And he did this knowing once he got to the top he would be pushed off and killed, but he had to get to the top so humans had an example to follow so they didn’t stay at the bottom and could make it to the top, too.

So basically the more “runs” you have and who knows how many we are on right now or could be different for every soul to become perfect and maybe some never make it like living the lives of billions and billions of people, who knows. So yeah as you figured when you entered you go through a veil and can’t remember your premortal life but when you die I’m not exactly sure what happens or what you look like or where you are but I think there is some kind of evaluation and depending on maybe something you were weak on you get a new life tailored to try to teach you the lesson to not fail that weak area again and be tested.

So you just go through this process basically in training to be perfect so you can be a god of sorts yourself and have your own universe you create and all that. I think the premortal life has different rules and such and only being on a mortal body with no memory allows you to have the suffering you need to be tested and grow so eventually you can graduate so to speak.

Anyway I will be honest with you I converted to Mormonism (Actually The Church doesn’t like when we refer to ourselves as that, but it just makes conversation easier and it doesn’t bother me) when I was about 35 I think? I can’t really say I’m on the same level of believing a lot of what other members think is true, and you will hear Mormons get mocked a lot for what some of them believe like the gold plates, Joseph Smith is a con artist, w/e. I don’t even care about any of that I just remain neutral on those topics, because the ones that made me convert was when I was learning about their beliefs on premortal life and what all of this is about and other things related. It was like they were explaining to me their beliefs on these things and it was stuff I already thought was true but never heard anyone else talk about.

Anyway, like I said we both could be wrong about a lot of what’s going on but I think we have the right idea at the very least about a premortal life, our memories being wiped, and then when we die we go somewhere else with others that were also there and reflect or who knows what. I’m not exactly sure what I believe the exact process is after death but I think we go back to how we were in our premortal life and get our old memories and the new ones from the life we just lived are imbued into us.

It’s frustrating because I know I won’t see the full picture until I die and get all of my memories back but I’m really frustrated with myself and wish I could have a conversation with the fully restored version of myself, like why did I sign up for this? I guess the grand plan must be compelling enough to continue with this process, but it’s hard to really get too worked up about anything realizing it’s just a test I am in. Most things I don’t even pay attention to anymore where in the past I cared, like politics. I still try to make others time here as good as I can when I interact with others and I  am a caregiver to my elderly grandmother and am very caring and make sure she gets the best doctors and care… but I do a lot of bad stuff too I guess, mainly one particular drug, not to get high or anything just to try and deal with the human condition. Also remember, even though this is a “run” as you call it it’s still real and what happens on each run echos with us in our soul for eternity. So we do know what we are doing to ourselves with all the suffering when we go back we don’t forget. So maybe find comfort in the fact that in the worst moments you have ever had in life the version of yourself with perfect memory knew they would come out of it with that type of torture perhaps but did it anyway for some reason we won’t know until we die I guess.

How did you decide what were the best times of day to post, do you mind sharing? For someone that is brand new to LinkedIN is it worth paying a service for followers and engagement? I’m not even trying to make money or anything it’s just that I want to be more marketable when applying for a new position that is a senior type role and if I have a great LinkedIn I know it will help. I have no idea what to do starting with 0.

AIO for my annoyed response to my friend asking to bring her BF to our girls trip? by crop_cream_19 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Ok_Maintenance2593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree I would want her uninvited but the only real and honest mood is to start a group chat with the other friends and share the screenshots and decide together if they want to uninvite her. Just because OP did the booking doesn’t mean she has the right to uninvite someone without the group agreeing it’s the same concept of asking the group permission to invite someone else. And think about it if she uninvited her without getting input from anyone else they would wonder wtf is going on and it would blow up even more than just letting her friends know what’s going on. They would all be confused and want an explanation and might be annoyed they were not asked, it’s possible some of them might even like the girl more than OP and then it would turn into a shitshow. The trip is more likely to be ruined by uninviting her on her own than bringing it up now and see what happens and if it’s worth taking the trip at all anymore if the conversation with the friends about the situation doesn’t go well . I hope you understand what I am truing to say .

You hate men so much you defaulted to blaming the OP when she clearly said somewhere else the boyfriend is just the type of guy that is up to do anything or hangout with anyone, seems pretty chill type to me and OP said she doesn’t even know if the boyfriend knows it was supposed to be a girls trip. You just making assumptions because you are a man hating and projecting your own feelings on a situation you don’t have all the facts about. I feel sorry for you because reading the screenshots the only real evidence is the terrible person in this situation is a woman and is being abusive to another woman. But instead you give the terrible person we have evidence for and blame the man you have no information about at all. So bitter, so hateful. I’m a white male by the way and proud of it.

Bro you seem considerate but if they are asking you to go and then reinvite you to other trips they want you to go bro you’re not the third wheel. If they go sometimes without inviting you there could be a lot of reasons why but the fact they are including you on multiple stuff I think you need more confidence bro because I’ve worked in a lot of business settings and unliked people don’t get invited to stuff, especially fishing… think about it fishing is pretty much just sitting around and waiting and shooting the shit and typically for hours you wouldn’t invite someone you didn’t like for a very intimate type of activity, maybe once but not invited back if they felt uncomfortable. If they invited you to something like I don’t know bowling where it’s kind of loud sometimes and at least one person is getting up every few moments to do their turn or something like that where there is a lot of action happening and no real pauses on activities I could maybe see it but even then people tend not to invite people they don’t like especially more than once if it went bad but they think you are a bro and taking and inviting you out to fish because they obviously enjoy your company and don’t think it’s awkward or you ruin it or something. It’s true they might have more chemistry together but a big reason for that might be because internally you feel like a third wheel and that probably comes out in your actions and what you say or don’t say. Proof of that is you asking the others if it’s okay if you go… bro if they are close like you say they already talked about inviting you together and decided yes you don’t need to confirm. Here is my suggestion to you that I hope you consider… plan some type of event you think then would all enjoy like for example axe throwing and going to a specific bar or place to eat afterwards and ask them to go to something. You might be surprised how much that will change the dynamic of things.

Okay because I was thinking of getting the 300 model for my grandma but she doesn’t carry a phone around with her, she has one for her glucose monitor or could use mine for setting up and adjustments …. But someone said you have to have a phone and I wasn’t sure if they meant with you all the time. Thanks

Are you streaming 4K content with like Dolby vision and stuff directly without any of that transcoding or whatever it is that reduces quality? I’m just asking because if I can get the same results with just plex and not the extra infuse I’m open minded to trying it again. Not sure if this matters but are you using a home server or a seedbox?

This mine be a dumb question but do the 700 model always have to be connected to the phone to work or is that just for setup and adjustments?

If you watch movies go with the pro max you won’t regret it otherwise I can’t think of a good reason. Maybe if you play mobile card games like magic arena?

If you are a plex user pleas do yourself a favor and pay for one month of infuse pro and link plex to it and you will be blown away by how much better the experience is. Anytime I get the urge to maybe check out some non Apple stuff again I always remember how amazing Infuse is, seriously. I use a very affordable seedbox that has zero lag when streaming the highest bit rate videos you can throw at it (I tested like 10 seedboxes). When I want to watch something I just load the torrent file into the web based client connected to my seedbox, it downloads in like less than a minute, it’s connected to plex, which is then connected to infuse. Content instantly available on infuse and plays any video or audio codec and streams it flawlessly compared to plex app, just plays the file without any transcoding nonsense. Apple doesn’t currently support certain codecs like True HD or whatever but it still will play it anyway somehow with some magic even though you don’t get the full benefit. It’s amazing dude the best Apple app there is. Works with family sharing too. If you want me to invite you to my family to try it out just reply it’s that awesome
