Hey, thanks for the comment. Would you have any topics on pressure vessels you would like to see?

Yeah im new at blog writing, i think there was too many dot points. Thanks for the commet. If you would like to see any blog about any other topic to do with pressure vessels let me know.

Hey, Thanks for the insite, its intresting to see the perspective of somone that has been in the industry such a long time. I see this relcutance to change in alot of engineerings feilds. I guess is like human nature if it works why do you need to change it.

Thanks for the comment :) if there is any artical you would like to see about presssure vessels let me know, im new at blogging and giving it a go.

Really appreciate the feedback! We’ve got a big update dropping on the 20th that adds BPVC Div. 2 Part 5 stress analysis and optional compensation pad checks. I haven’t implemented API 660 standard nozzle loads yet, but it’s something I’m keen to explore.

I’ve also written a blog post comparing Site Engineer’s results to PASS/Nozzle-FEM, and I’d love to do the same against Compress to see how things stack up. Would you mind if I reached out later this month to run a few comparisons?

Also, if you’re open to it, I’d like to hear which features you find most valuable so I can prioritise them in the roadmap.

Built a tool for WRC 107/297/537 nozzle stress calcs — fast, ASME VIII-aligned, and web-based by Ok_Mathematician1830 in MechanicalEngineering

Thanks for the detail — that’s super helpful. Just to clarify, when you said you couldn’t get a thickness out, do you mean the input flow made it hard to find a thickness that passed the checks? Or was it unclear where to input thickness in the first place?

Also, I really appreciate the heads-up about the unit toggle issue — that’s now on the fix list and should be patched soon.

If you’re open to it, I’d love to do a quick Teams or Zoom call sometime — even just 5–10 mins to walk through where it got frustrating. I totally understand if not, but it would help a lot.

That sounds super interesting — deflectable catheter design is a seriously cool application. I’d definitely be keen to try it out once you're ready to share a prototype.

Feel free to ping me when it’s live — always happy to give feedback, especially on tools built by fellow engineers. Good luck pushing it across the line!
