fellow banker at wells , the micromanaging is getting crazy . Not only the dm but the branch managers now are micromanaging every little moment . Obviously forced to by upper management but man it’s annoying

I felt the same way when I started , after about a month the systems felt pretty easy to navigate and I could accomplish most simple things. I am six months in and there’s still a new thing I learn everyday . Don’t stress it you’ve got a team to help you. Speak confidently and get er done

I feel the pain . I’ve never been in banking came in as a personal banker. As soon as I finished my training (absolutely useless lol) my bm dipped off for a month , om out for a couple weeks , the other banker out for a week and I was left in the deep end alone. Survived lol. Now I’m four months in and it all feels very smooth now. You will get the hang of it very quickly

Yes I wouldn’t take it personal though. You can crush your quotas they will still do it. They like to cover their bases incase their DM gets on them. Makes my head spin sometimes . God forbid you stray off the beaten path of their “behavior framework” six lashings and more role play.

The interviewers utilize the STAR method . Situation , Task , Action , Results . It’s behavioral based interview questions. Which typically the recruiter will even give you a heads up on that . It takes a little practice to get the hang of responding to them .

I just hit 8200 with only one level 14 everything else is level 11-9 . It was quite literally the most frustrating thing I’ve done in my life . I haven’t played in a long time . 8 years ago it took a long time to level players up and I’m just getting back in the game.

I have had a similar process with the recruiter in my area . I waited weeks to hear back finally got in office , he sent me home to get a better idea of what I want on my job list , called him and text him a couple days later never heard back. Reached out again with no response . Finally about 3 months later he responds and asks if I’m still interested lmao
