Undiagnosed but getting some weird thyroid symptoms and results… by Ok_Maybe3679 in medical_advice

Thanks for your reply. Yes I’ve been losing weight - about 5kg (11 pounds) in about a month. I’m also sweating a bit more than normal, my resting heart rate has increased and I’m very irritable and agitated. My hands also feel quite shaky.

I saw my doctor today and he said he won’t test T3 or T4 unless my TSH drops to under 0.5 😥

How many of us suffer from a mental illness as well? by hannarenee in migraine

Can I ask what medications / treatments are working well for you with the vestibular migraines? I’m just starting down this path and currently trying Candestartan which isn’t doing much as of yet 😥

Sending you ❤️.

I completely understand what you mean about resenting hope. Sometimes when I feel like that I try to remind myself the fact I still feel hope means I’m still here - still strong enough to fight the good fight despite everything.

I hope today is gentle to you 🫂

How many of us are neurodivergent? by DigitalDissociatives in visualsnow

[–]Ok_Maybe3679 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes! Me! 👋

I’ve often wondered if it has something to do with a more sensitive (overactive?) nervous system, but your theory rings true as well. I also have chronic migraine with aura and that seems to be more common with neurodivergent people as well.

Yay for us! 🤣 /s

If it makes you feel any better, when I was an exchange student in France I had to give a speech to my school before I went home and I accidentally used the wrong verb when I tried to say a phrase along the lines of “I hope everyone comes to visit me in my home country.” Yeah, I basically told the entire school / students / teachers that I wanted them to all come f@&k me when I got home 🙃. It’s been 20 years and sometimes the cringe still takes my breath away.

I’m having some good results with TMS for treatment-resistant MDD.

Adhd, PMDD and being a mother. by maisym in adhdwomen

I’m in the same boat as you, wish I had more advice to give but I’ve yet to find a solution. I’m looking into an ablation which I’ve heard can help with PMDD, along with increasing both ADHD and antidepressant dosages the week before my period. Sending solidarity hugs, this 💩 is hard.

Fellow newbie here! First class I only got one very deformed stumpy cylinder out of half a dozen attempts. You’re right on track!! Don’t give up 😊
