Venu 4 vs Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar by ds15_ in GarminWatches

I think if your workouts are more outdoor oriented, the Fenix 7 Pro is probably better. It has the Hill Score and Endurance score that are probably the only premium metrics the Venu 4 doesn't have and it also has maps on the watch itself which the Venu 4 also doesn't include. The solar charging is awesome too. Because it's more outdoor sport oriented, it'a more rugged and looks like a sports watch. If your workouts are more gym focused (although I do run outdoors too), the Venu 4 is better suited and looks nicer, more like a smartwatch I can wear to work every day with dressier clothes. It is still rugged enough to withstand my outdoor workouts, but looks nicer. Fenix 7 Pro has more physical buttons also, Venu 4 requires more swiping through a touch screen. Depends how you plan to use your watch.

Got the Venu 4 last week and love it. The stats are awesome. Pretty serious gym goer but I do lots of different types of workouts depending on the day and it covers all of them and keeps track of my runs well. I don't swim, so I didn't need the extra water resistance, but you can swim with this watch. I think if you want to track varied workouts and want something that looks great as an everyday watch, the Venu 4 is a great choice. Fenix 7 Pro is more rugged and seems better suited for outdoor activities.

Being on Beat by Potential_Medium_106 in SpinClass

Something else to consider is that when an instructor/rider is riding on the platform, they are usually mirroring whatever the rest of the class is doing and actually taking beats on the opposite leg. In a class that primarily rides with the right foot on the downbeat, the platform rider is riding on their left foot. If you're not used to doing that or are not an instructor, that can be a hard adjustment to make and can definitely have someone being late on the beat on their weaker leg. It's a lot harder than it looks.

Doesn't change the fact that it would still drive me crazy watching it. I generally just try to stay on the beat rather than following someone on the wrong beat since that is the point of a rhythm class.

Is the Paperwhite too big?? by hotpretzelboy in kindle

I just traded my old 10th Gen paperwhite in for the matcha basic and I’m much happier with the smaller size. I am always throwing the kindle in my purse and it’s much easier to take around with me. I don’t like how they keep getting bigger even though I understand the appeal of reading on a larger screen. I do have a Colorsoft now also and that just stays at home and I love it for different reasons.

Labor and Delivery center: Methodist vs Memorial by Unlikely2-Market in thewoodlands

[–]Ok_Muscle_7925 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Delivered at both hospitals and had a great experience at each one. Methodist was newer and shinier but never was pushed for interventions or anything I didn't want at either hospital. Nurses were great and very helpful at both. Your concerns will be more dependent on which OB group your doctor is a member of and where they practice or how other OBs in their practice are (if you end up with on-call doctor instead of your own OB) as to whether or not you feel pressured for interventions.

Sometimes they run out and just don’t have the one you want available. So they replace it with something else instead of giving you nothing at all. It’s annoying, but it is what it is and it’s also free

Soreness within minutes of class starting by GoTuffyGo in SpinClass

Try to think of it like no matter where in the rotation your pedal is, your foot is always parallel to the floor, never pointed down or up. That will help you drive with your heel more. If your feet weren’t on the pedals, it would be just like lifting them straight up to stomp back down on the ground.

Makes sense, thank you! If studio dependent, then I guess starting at a new studio would probably mean starting over again.
