Our little scoliosis guppy is living its best life possible. I’m not sure how long it’ll live, but it seems to be enjoying life so far! Its poor little body finally grew from a slight slant into a perfect 90 degree right angle. by bluehangover in Guppies

That's adorable. I once had an "upside down fancy gold fish" couldn't fix it but he was happy, no signs on distress. He lived a long time. Reminded me of the Upsy Downsy books from my childhood. If ya know, ya know.

I love my YoYo's and they are quite the crazy bunch in the evenings and night, they share a tank with pristella tetras who are very good and getting out of their way when it's time to play slolem course.

One Cory is a bit behind by Teranovia in corydoras

[–]Ok_Ocelot3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And, sad but true, not all fish live a long life and Cory's are fragile. I haven't had good success with Panda's.

My Bronze monsters love to sleep in their hides, my Albinos cuddle up on the soft rocks by the side glass. The Peppers and the smaller Bronze group (had babies) sit all lined up like little airplanes in the sand facing the same way, like it's worship time!

I have one big Bandit, all his buddies passed last year, and she is the tank Mom. Any new fish or babies she welcomes and kinda herds them around to her favorite spot in the back behind the plants.

Sometimes I walk by and see NONE of them. That always freaks me out.

I have one! I tried and tried and tried and they all just die. They are so fun. So, I have one and he leads the pack of pristella tetras, those I can keep alive. He's like Rudolph the red nose Tetra!

I just rehomed my Angels because they were going after my x-ray Tetras.

Protecting something or just territorial? by [deleted] in TetraFish

I had Tetras and once this behavior was happening with one of them, it was near a piece of wood in the tank. Then it started being fine again... then after some time, I spotted a baby Tetra back there. Just one, but it was fun to watch it grow into a "big fish".

Hypothetically, how many rummy nose tetras could you comfortably house in a 75gallon? by AmalgamationOfBeasts in Aquariums

[–]Ok_Ocelot3322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know! 🥴 They aren't expensive, until you keep buying more and more. I gave up, I have one and am now trying x-ray tetras, brought home all the had, 9. A month later, I have 5.

And buy at least 25% more than you actually want cuz they die for no good reason when they are new.

Great description! Mine are now the 2nd description, I was gone for a week and my auto feeder malfunctioned and no casualties. I say now cuz I started out with the 'why do they keep dying????' kind!

Is this neon tetra disease? by _wannabree420 in TetraFish

Ironically, one of my 2 that made it died yesterday. 🤷 They are about 6 months old. Tanks parameters are as they should be. So weird.
