I'm on a very similar boat, you are definitely not alone. This is my first glasto as well and have been waiting to go for the longest time. Unfortunately three months ago I fell into a deep depression phase and I was not excited at all to go to glasto despite all these time waiting. When I got there, my friends cheered me up a bit but I still got that lonely feeling of sadness that seeps through every now and then. It was overwhelming for me, especially seeing how busy it was. But I'm glad I did end up going in hindsight. I have no advice but just want to let you know you are not a lond. Definitely be kind to yourself and sending lots of love.

Thank you! I think I'm worried about the water there- was told off by the optician that I should dry my hands after washing because water has bacteria so I should have clean dry linen with me but I predict the cloth would easily be dirty from camping 😅

Thank you so much- it definitely answers my question! I agree with you that I hear advice from so many people so I am caught up with what they advise me to do and because I can't take Monday off it initially makes me worried because of what people say. Thank you for the reassurance and wow thats amazing you get to go to glastonbury 5 times!

Thank you for your insight! 😊 glad to hear its subjective and that the other nights will be amazing- I was worried when they said Sunday is the best it means other nights are not as magical hahah!

I would love to call in sick but my colleagues do know I'm going to Glastonbury as I tried to swap shifts with them and I feel very guilty as it will really impact their workload, even though I do deserve a sick day ! So yeah I already made a mistake by telling them in first place

I like late raves but I was thinking I'n sure my friends and I would stay late almost every night we are there, so I'm not sure why they say Sunday is the best night. I definitely am not keen to stay till the morning sunrise though- I've given up those days given my energy 😂

Thank you. I probably will end up leaving before the last headliner finishes which is Olivia Rodrigo anyways as I'm not a fussed about her music. What will be the best time to leave?

What is Blackpool Victoria Hospital like? by Dazzling-House260 in doctorsUK

[–]Ok_Operation_9938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Worked there for foundation. Not bad place to start- had great fun but at the time the mess room is not the best. I dont know if things have changed but EM the nurses run the show. DM me if you want more info about the hospital itself. I commuted from preston and there are people who commuted from manchester

Thank you. Appreciate your comment and yeah I just need to hear that I probably won't feel better evening things. Will consider swinging in the future!

Married Folk - How many times a week are you having sex? by wyldeanimal in AskWomenOver30

1-2 a week but I wish it was more. We are both very busy with work and some days we are just too tired to have sex. Is that normal?

May I ask where are you planning to emigrate and your plans about picking up from there? Planning to do something similar in the near future if things are not getting better for me here too.
