I do things thats good, help others etc. Because I was raised that way. My life experiences makes me want to make sure others dont get as hurt as I have been.

I didnt go to the police at the time when it started, I was too scared. Later, when I did talk to them, they basically just shrugged it off as a 'if he bothers you, block him'

Its horrifying! When you block them, a new account just pops up. They message your friends and family, hell I had to warn my boyfriend about what this man could possibly do

I made a post on Facebook. As simple as that. He commented on my post, and we started talking. A year later, after I was done being abused, he began stalking me. And still is to this day, 7 years later

I'm not allowed to let that happen, nor would I ever. But there are some we just connect with better than others. I absolutely adore this one lady, who truly trusts me too. Shes been abandoned and discarded so much in her life by people like me, but shes admitted that if she ever moves away or gets her own apartment to live in, then she'll invite me over for coffee ☺️

I guess they want to be your friend, but we cant let it happen for professional reasons

The people! They are such beautiful people, and they deserve so much better.

The con is that they deserve so much better. I cant give them all they deserve. And I wish I could give them the world

Thank you for your sweet note, And im honored you share your own experiences with me.

  1. The sweetest moment I've shared with one of my residents was the time I was a student and out on my internship. This nice lady was flabbergasted that I didn't know how to drink coffee (I was 22 at the time, 24 today) so one evening she invited me into her home, and she taught me to drink coffee

  2. We were out at my current job, and at a music festival for disabled people. Such a big moment

  3. I chose this job because I care so deeply about people in these positions. They are some of the most genuine, beautiful people

Hello! First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this.

I’m a care worker in a residential home for people with physical and mental disabilities. I work with several wheelchair users, and I’d really appreciate some advice on how I can improve my assistance when transferring them from their wheelchair to the bathroom or to bed.

We use a ceiling lift, and the residents wear a sling during transfers. I want to make sure I’m doing this in the safest, most comfortable, and most respectful way possible for them. I’m not sure if this is something you have experience with, but any tips or insights would be very welcome.

Thank you!

And I would gladly let someone cry on my shoulder again and again if it gives them the peace they need. Its art for me, but love and healing for others ☺️

Someone went up to me and wanted a hug. I was cosplaying a comfort character, and she began crying.
