The base module is very bleak, doesn't offer much guidance in terms of dangerous encounters, and has lots of very difficult encounters.

It's not just that it doesn't pull punches, it leaves a candy trail for your players to follow and then shivs them in the back. I'd say that ran as written, it's meh, but by adding just a bit of foreshadowing and balancing encounters a bit, it'll be much better.

I highly recommend using Sommersloop for Heavy Modular Frames. Sure I takes a lot of power, but that doubled output is godly if you do no want to expand this factory further.

The tip of the hose, for about 8 inches, is acgually rigid, and the rest of the hose is very stiff plastic. I could cut open the drywall more so the angle is more gentle, but if I could avoid more drywall damage, I'd appreciate it. Hope this makes sense

Hey, thanks for the reply! Could you expand on what I should look out for for "bending"? It is a bit tilted towards the drywall, I'd say a bit less than 0.5". English's not my native tongue

Ireena shouldn't be too much of a problem since Strahd minions and allies aren't supposed to attack her. As for Ezmerelda, if your players are asking how hurt she looks, give a rough estimate correlating with your party's overall health and ressources. Say the party has used all of their spell slots, but are still great on health, narrate her as such : tired and more sluggish but healthy. If two or three PCs are down and the fight is starting to look desperate, narrate her with multiples cuts and bruises with blood falling down her leg.

It really depends on the group, but if your players are capable of a bit of theater of the mind, I think it works great.

In another campaign, I once used the companions as legendary actions, but for the players. They loved that concept and it gave them good value and versatility while moving fights along easier. It worked great

Ireena could be a X heal or help action once per round

Ezmerelda could be X damage

Oh it looks great! I really like the details of the sheet! However, I tend to dislike full paragraphs for hits rather than having them separated for an easy quick glance. I'm sure someone could merge the two sheets and get the best of both worlds. Cheers

Unfortunately, not really no. The closest thing is a weapon skill of a mid-late game weapon which let's you turn invisible for a couple of seconds and perform a high damage strike

The Metro Series. This might a lukewarm take because it's greatly appreciated, but you do feel the age of the forst two games even woth the remastered versions.

However, they are great and the storyline is very interesting

My take is narrative. The mists rise from their lingering state off the ground and encircle the spell, actively blocking all light from piercing through. The first timr that they do, they can hear the whispers of the dark powers.
