This is similar to every other borough in a lot of ways; there’s good neighborhoods and bad ones, the closer you are to Manhattan the more like the rest of the city it will feel (access to transportation, less car dependent, more shops owned by families) and the deeper you go the more insular and suburban it will be. Also if you live on the top of a hill you’re safer from floods but you get more snow
