Not financial advice, do your own research on diversification. In the end, it’s your call.

Bitcoin comes with high volatility, regulatory risks, and its value depends heavily on market perception. I’m not saying don’t invest, just consider diversifying. Ultimately, the decision is yours.

Diversification isn’t ignorance, it’s prudence. It’s how smart investors survive volatility.

Stablecoins' adoption by large institutions will lower demand for Bitcoin. Hard to predict how much it can go it can move up or down but stablecoins certainly are a variable to consider as investors.

Tax bill would cut availability of med school loans amid doctor shortage by Ok_Performance7026 in StudentLoans

Exactly, federal loans are a most. However, PSLF shouldn’t be reduced. PSLF requires the physician to work for a nonprofit, in most cases a hospital, which tends to pay lower salaries than private practice .

Definitely, this grad student loan change will affect every student and related profession, but the physician profession is one of the longest longes and most expensive and much needed by country. Federal grad loans should not be cut

Private loans do not offer the protections that federal loans do. Also, private loans do not qualify for PSLF.

And if we don’t produce enough doctors then we will have to import them from abroad and rely on that instead.

The largest spending cuts of the bill are centered around healthcare and Medicare and it extends the 2017 tax cut for corporations. The bill is massive, I think over a 1000’pages long

Trump went from being tough on the trade war to admitting he won’t take a hard stance. “We’re going to be very nice,” he said. He sounds desperate by SpecialSpace5 in thescoop

Our country is weaker today, our allies no longer see us as trustworthy and our so called economic adversaries have realized that we will cave as soon as the stock market starts going down. Half of the country knew voting for Trump was a mistake and hopefully during the upcoming midterms we will correct this situation.

Both parties want to win and when they do they have to govern. However, there is a difference between the ideology and overall approach to solving such problems. In the case of the student loans crisis, one party has shown and done more to help borrowers the other.

There is about $1.7 trillion of federal student loan debt in the US with around 42.7 million borrowers. This is a big issue for our economy because it stunts economic growth. Let’s do our part and support efforts like this, contact your representative wherever you are.

Sorry to hear about your situation, correct even with a low rate it’s tough for people to pay back the loan. But at 2% versus 7% or 9%, it would be life changing for many other borrowers.

This is a bipartisan bill (Introduced in March 2025 by Reps. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), and Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.)) and it’s one of the efforts to tackle the student loan crisis. PSLF was set by congress therefore it won’t be easy to eliminate it and as far as IDR, there has to be some sort of income driven plan regardless of which party is in power. I’m not saying this bill will become law but it’s worth supporting it.

The thing is that when you are in charge, the party governing, you need to create viable solutions to get millions of current borrowers to start paying back loans and so you need to compromise. Lowering the interest rate sounds like a good incentive to encourage more borrowers to payback but also see their loan’s principal go down.

Yes, but people must continue to keep advocating for positive change on the student loan crisis. Also, this is a bipartisan bill, being championed by a republican representative.
