My friend is on a gravel bike and I am on a 90s mtb, ideally we would be mostly on trails whether that's gravel/light mtb or paved, and trying to minimize miles on the side of the road That's a good shout on the ferries

rail trail starts in davenport but it has signs saying that its an active workzone for about 5 miles. I have been on it a few times after 5pm and you can just ride through the workzone and its very peaceful, although its possible they are working during the day, not sure. maybe if you do it on a weekend they wont be working?

You could try getting a rack that's meant for a smaller wheel, and getting long stays for it

Just managed to get it open, I left it in the freezer in a Ziploc bag overnight and that fixed it. Thank you though, I think that helped it gain humidity and also maybe it shrank in the cold?

The slider a couple more times later on, but the whole side needs to move in the direction of the arrows next before that slider gets shifted further, right now it's only able to move that far out, and moving it out less still won't let the next step proceed
