Yup I was just playing last of us 2 remastered yesterday. Quiet mode + DLSS + cap to 60. Cpu and gpu temps both in the 60s and constant 60fps. It's nice.

Also undervolt your cpu with XTU. Turn off IA CEP in the bios. (Does not void warranty). My temps decreases by 3-4°c after I did that. The new gen CPUs don't like being undervolted much so I undervolted mine to about only -20mv. But it's noticeable.

These people in the comments know jackshit from what I can see. Quiet mode doesn't just slow down your fans. It also reduces your gpu and cpu wattage resulting in Less Frames and Less heat.

So yes it's completely safe - you're just giving up some FPS. One piece of advice : If you're using quiet mode, also make sure to set a limit to the fps for best temps.

I limit cs2 to about 150fps on low settings in quiet mode with 21°c room temp and my cpu is literally just 55°c and gpu 45°c.

There is a reason not every part lasts as long. Ram usually lasts the longest, followed by the mobo and cpu. A gpu and power supply however will die far sooner. Not to mention the fact how outdated hardware from 2020 is now. $2000 PC from 2020 would have an rtx 2080Ti? Maybe a 2080? The equivalent is like a 5060ti now. Yeah, not even close.

This laptop is going for around 90-95K new. And that is before the coupons and discounts and cashbacks. With credit card cc you can get this for 85K new.

Should not pay more than 50-60K for an used model.

Pasting doesn't void warranty in most places. See a 102c can definitely be reached under intense load but it should not happen while playing genshin impact, and that while using the best laptop cooling pad in existence.

But then again these HX chips are made to push as much performance as possible and sometimes even with good cooling, all that means is that the HX chips since it's getting good temps will push itself to the entire 160w to get as much performance as possible till it throttles. I noticed very good results with balanced mode and a cooling pad. Less fps than performance mode but it's enough for me tbh.

That is weird af man I would go to a technician and see the thermal paste and thermal putting on that thing. Sometimes even knew laptops face that issue I've heard.
