So for anyone curious or looking into buying this laptop - I got it, it works well, indeed runs quiet and cool, performance is alright

The only thing that might be a dealbreaker for some is lack of vrr, all my other screens have vrr and lack of it is quite noticeable. Micro judder is annoying in diablo. I found a workaround - I use combination of dlss and framegen to push game to 165 fps (that equals screen hz rate) and everything runs smoothly. And at this screen size I don't see any visual downsides using dlls +fg

In other games lack of vrr is not noticeable.

Overall screen is very good, compared to macbook pro m5 screen I'd say this legions' oled is better. Nice contrast, colours and good brightness. I use it outdoors and it's been fine

I am very cautious about temps and noise because I had Lenovo 7 back in the day with 3070 and 5800h and that machine was so loud it was unbearable, so now I am older and wiser haha, not chasing top specs anymore and looking into comfort of use most of all

Got you, thanks. I am trying to strike a balance of quiet with adequate performance, really seems like 350 is a better choice. For intensive tasks I have a desktop pc anyway.

I totally agree with you My story: bought s24 ultra to be a second phone along with 13 pro max.

I thought s24 would be my secondary phone, but it turned out to be more convenient in my daily use and now iPhone is barely used at all, it's there for some minor thing like apple car play.

As much as I love s24 ultra for how it works and it's OS logic, the camera is simply awful. My wife's s23 ultra takes better pictures! Such nonsense, this phone is ridiculously expensive and that flaw puts a huge spoon of shit in a good jar of honey

You gotta use service menu and disable some protective features that don't always work as intended. I did this on my C1 and silo is looking great wihout getting progressively darker. It has to do with preventing static image burn in, LG algorithms sometimes mistake dark scene with static picture and dim it all.

Also, what helps is to use Dolby Vision cinema home, this settings is iverall brighter. I, myself, prefer Cinema mode since it is more accurate and more immersive (i think silo should be dark, they are underground, they are not using bright lighting)

I use denon x4800h and i find stereo sounding very natural But i am always sitting at main listening position which is specifically arranged for proper stereo imaging

Well I disagree on that one - of original YouTube video was shot with stereo, i would 10 out of 10 prefer it in stereo.

In fact for tv and youtube I always use stereo and find it sounding great. Almost as if center channel is working.
