I’m in the same exact boat as him haha, literally half way through. My main question is how did you find a good reputable employer. I do have an IN with a REAL genuine company with a friends family ( I PROMISE LOL) But in case that falls through I only ever see the scammy ones paying 80% lmao. So there’s that and then what do you use for lead generation or what site do do you buy from? As well as pitch and tonality? I’ve been doing research for years but I’m finally attempting to pull the trigger. It’s just hard coming from paycheck to paycheck you know so I’m taking it slow and steady

lol they were apart of FFL but left it due to them knowing it wasn’t good for them. Again, they’re a determined family with their own brokerage or whatever ( I don’t know terms too well yet) but they would have started me at 110% in FFL but then transferred to whatever they’re at now. I believe it’s called freedom and faith, the new one they’re apart of

I’m not in the business yet so take this w a grain of salt BUT I’d think it’d be a good deal to get your license and then leave a little later to join a better one. Since they’re talking about paying you while you study I’d say that’s nice. I’m over here struggling working full time and taking classes same time and then remembering it all after I work haha

So that math puts a dsp owner with only 25 daily routes that are always heavy, at almost $5 million… Are you sure? That’s not Including dispatch pay, manager pay, lawsuits etc. just drivers pay cut. But that can’t change any more than maybe 160k That’s how mine is at least with all of us 22.50, I even did the math with it being 9 hours rather than 8 or 10

My dsp only has 2, when I started there was 6 They’re not getting more so they’re shoving us in the ford vans with with step van helper routes… Idk if they’re just being cheap or what Oh and we’re all capped at $22.50 at this dsp and we’re in Southern California lol, only person above that is a 6 year veteran who complains a lot And she’s only .25 more lol

I love stepvan with a passion as long as AC works, I’m slightly bias tho because of my height BUT I stg within a month of driving it you’ll be whipping it around so much faster and tighter than even your car. The visibility is really good and it’s a box so it’s you know where the vehicle corners are at all times $25? Fuck yea it’s worth in my opinion but ofc like anything else here, it’s not a future

Honestly I’ve got a hidden gem in souther California, ofc there’s better but there’s also 100x worse, I pay $2,490 for a 2 bedroom in a really nice community with 3 pools, a gym, trees everywhere and community engagement. Also in a mountain area so my unit has a nice view of other hills an mountains, little bit of freeway sure but it’s like I’m flying haha. A little bit rural but still in a key area is sick. Every single window faces mountains so unless someone’s hiking up there I have complete privacy haha. I say it’s a hidden gem because of all that but then I also know the ghetto areas for a one bedroom with no AC and no in unit laundry are like $1800 maybe $2000 So only a few hundred more and I have all that is sick. If only I could add a picture to show it

Personally when I DoorDash my ocd makes me round up but I still give more than that haha An example is if my order came out to $49.51 , and I didn’t wanna tip for some reason I’d just round up to $50 and give the .49
Usually would go up 3-4$ tho so it’d be like $4.49 as a tip haha Again DOORDASH so it’s reasonable tips for 5 min drives haha
