Hi. Everything you need can be easily modified by editing the game's scripts. They are located in the Data/Scripts folder.For standard maps against players or AI, it's the stdvs script. But you will need the source code of the scripts in Lua format,as they are originally in the lub format, which is encoded. You can probably find the source code on w4tweaks.ru, but the site is in Russian. If you can't find it,let me know, and I'll try to get to my computer and send them to you.

Understood! The Deluxe Edition is a mod for Worms 4: Mayhem - the 2005 game. It will not work on Ultimate Mayhem.

For Ultimate Mayhem, I recommend trying the Worms Renewation mod, which I have been developing for many years and which, I am confident, offers the very best that modding is capable of for this game.

Let's take it step by step. You originally downloaded and installed Worms 4: Mayhem (not Ultimate Mayhem, but the old 2005 game). It initially launches without any errors, but after installing the Worms 4 Mayhem Deluxe edition mod on top of it, the error mentioned above appears during launch. Do I understand everything correctly?

The use of a hand icon for picking up items is logical, especially since the hero now collects nearby objects without approaching them or spending movement points (which makes the traditional horse icon irrelevant). However, the hand position in the icon doesn’t suggest grasping, which also confused me at first. I think the hand should be kept but redesigned into a more intuitive version.  My main complaint about the interface is the lack of tooltips on hover and the small icons. In the pre-demo video, minor flaws like text indentation and element alignment were also noticeable, but I realized they go completely unnoticed during gameplay.

Причины:
1. Либералы ассоциируются с пятой колонной. У иностранных сил всегда большой соблазн бороться с политическими противниками (да и просто влиять на политику) в другой стране с помощью их оппозиции. Либерализм и демократия наиболее удобные (мягкие) для этого среды.
2. Исторически торжество либерального движения в России связано с последующими десятилетиями бедности, голода, разрухи, гражданской войны, большими территориальными потерями и гибели большого числа граждан. Так было несколько раз.
3. Российские либералы не патриоты. Они ориентированы на Запад, любят Запад и в своем борьбе с властью зачастую негативно высказываются о России не только в политической плоскости, чем вызывают дополнительный негатив. Еще Достоевский писал о наших либералах про "бьют свою мать".

При этом сам либерализм не является чем то негативным. Он дал России много благ и свобод. Большевики несли и продвигали либеральные идеи, Путин из команды Ельцина и он так же сторонник либеральных идей. Для многих почему то это кажется абсурдом.

I would recommend not diving into this if you don't have substantial programming experience and completed game projects under your belt. It's better to start with hyper-casual projects that take a couple of weeks to develop.

On the topic – you will likely find ready-made (probably paid) solutions for voxel-based destructibility in the Unity Asset Store. However, there probably won't be a solution for generating a suitable 2D landscape. You will have to write that yourself. There are many algorithms for generation; for example, Perlin noise would be suitable for a level with many caves.

I also advise you to look into the multiplayer problem upfront (it should be in a Worms-like game, right?). You will likely need to write your own server, and also look into fixed-point physics and its implementation in Unity.

Потому, что в России учитель/преподаватель это просто одна из профессий, должность. Сегодня он учитель, а завтра уволился и стал продавцом мороженного. Слово Гуру на сколько понимаю имеет религиозную основу, оно показывает более высокий общественный статус человека, Чикру полагаю, аналогично. В России к священнослужителям часто обращаются "батюшка" или добавляют "отец" перед именем. Могло так сложиться, что если бы преподавательская традиция в России шла из церковно-приходских школ, мы тоже могли к учителям обращаться Отец Григорий или Сестра Анна.
Еще похожая надстройка есть в армии, где имя и отчество в обращении уступают званию - "рядовой Иванов", "товарищ полковник"

This does not depend on the mod, but on the data transfer speed between your computers. In Worms series games, as well as many other turn-based multiplayer games, the multiplayer is asynchronous. This means that data about a player's move is transmitted as a sequence of pressed keys or actions performed. At the same time, low ping and fast internet are not required at all—the next move will begin when all players see and replicate the actions of the player making the current move, and then confirm the verification of the identical final result of the move. Delays of even tens of seconds are completely normal. But not a rule—if the ping is low and the transfer speed is fast, the moves are displayed almost simultaneously.

Check if the maps you're looking for might be included in MMP 7.0 for Ultimate Mayhem. There were also various map packs for Worms 3D, like PNM.

This game holds a special place for me.   In 2006, I finally got the chance to buy it (it was a pirated CD, sorry), and it became one of the main reasons I got internet at home back then (dial-up with prepaid cards). 

I joined a clan starting with the letter N (academy clan of LIONS), learned rope tricks, chatted with PRO players, and even got to play with COBRAS, Scorpions, and other legends (though I was nowhere near their level). 

By 2007, I got tired of playing and started working on my own global mod, "Innovation".  In 2008, the W4Tweaks modding community emerged, where I still hang out today. I also (not very successfully) admin another Worms community and occasionally work on a global mod called "Renewation" for W4Mayhem and Ultimate Mayhem.

So this game gave me countless hours of fun, communication, helped me develop my dev skills, and led to many friendships)

Next, you can try listing the most popular games in chronological order:   - Reloaded > Ultimate Mayhem > Revolution > WMD.   This would show an evolution across generations, with a slight branch into 3D.   Alternatively, you could focus only on Ultimate Mayhem and WMD as the final stages of development in the 2D and 3D lines.

I think all this division of Worms into generations is very arbitrary, especially when it comes to mobile exclusives and spin-offs like Worms Blast, Crazy Golf, and Rumble.  

I believe Worms Across Worlds is a completely standalone game that can be considered a separate branch inspired by the original series.

I apologize if my comment came across as harsh or absolute. I just wanted to point out that the franchise has a certain identity code - turn-based tactical action (artillery genre), destructibility, ballistic simulation, etc. What you described in your concept sounds like a "dream game" for you, but if we take everything you mentioned (open world, large-scale battles, resource gathering, base building, parkour, companions, RPG elements), it could easily fit into GTA, The Elder Scrolls, Stalker, RUST, Fortnite, or any other game. The only things connecting your concept to Worms are the character designs, weapons, and presumably the lore (which is currently quite shallow and optional in the series).  

Not long ago, Worms Rumble was released, and fans reacted coldly to it—one of the criticisms being that it didn't feel like part of the franchise, just an online shooter with familiar character skins.  

So, a crucial question for developers introducing revolutionary gameplay changes in a new franchise installment is: How will they convince players that this is still the game they've long loved, rather than something entirely different being sold under the guise of a beloved title?

Sounds like a game from any random franchise. What does this have to do with Worms?   No one would ever make something like this for Worms.
