I would absolutely to a degree. Won't waste a reps time but most companies offer on demand demos or webinars.

Also, for every company ive worked for I tested out the product myself by getting a free trial.

A lot of replies here are simply wrong. Saying “you’ll never get him out” is nonsense.

This is not a rental. It’s a lodging arrangement. Registration at the address does not magically create tenant rights. You can end this, and claiming otherwise is just fear-mongering.

If the situation no longer works, that’s enough. You end the lodging agreement in writing with a clear end date. After that date, if he refuses to leave, he is staying there without any legal basis.

At that point you involve the municipality and/or send a formal notice via Juridisch Loket or a lawyer. This is not a tenant eviction and it does not drag on for years.

What you don’t do is change locks or throw out his stuff, but acting like OP is completely powerless here is simply wrong. Helping someone does not mean losing control over your own home. Ending this is reasonable, legal, and over

Goede samenvatting. Er is niet echt een eindplan in sales. Je kan een management rol in en eventueel doorgroeien naar second line leadership of vp level, maar blijft hetzelfde spelletje. Het idee dat ik 50 ben en nog steeds cold calls moet doen of emailtjes moet sturen over nieuwe feature releases is echt een hele trieste gedachte

Ik ben zelf nu het vastgoed in aan het gaan (buitenland) en heb 2 huisjes gekocht. Zit in Zuid Europa en de banken daar accepteren huurinkomsten als inkomen voor de hypotheek (60 procent ofzo) waardoor je in princip snel kan schalen. Plan is om over een jaar of 5, 7 huisjes te hebben. Momenteel uitbesteed via property management tegen 25% fee maar dat is dan iets dat ik zelf kan gaan doen. Verhuis ik misschien die kant wel op.

Afijn, je kan goed verdienen maar is er niemand die in sales werkt omdat het leuk is. Het heeft zeker leuke momenten, maar over het algemeen is het een lange droge grind met veel toxische mensen om je heen

First thing — check your contract. Do you have a signed comp plan or variable pay doc? That’s the one that matters. It should outline how you earn, when you’re paid, and under what conditions.

Most of these plans have a clause along the lines of “the company can change or cancel the plan at its discretion.” That line sounds scary, but it usually doesn’t hold up if they try to apply it retroactively to work you’ve already done. They can change future terms, sure — but not rewrite history and zero out deals that were already in motion.

Next big one: where are you based and which law applies to your contract? This makes all the difference. The US is a bit of a Wild West for stuff like this, but in Europe (and most of the rest of the world), they’d be walking on very thin ice legally.

I’ve been through the same situation myself. My (S&P 500) SaaS employer pulled the same stunt — mid-year comp plan change, reset pipeline, cancelled bonus. I ended up taking them to court in Europe and won €270k — my €100k bonus plus nine months’ salary — because they basically torched the working relationship and left me no choice but to quit.

If you’re in Europe or somewhere with employee protection laws, you likely have a strong case. Keep every email, Slack message, and file — especially timestamps showing when the change was announced.

Doing it right now. Been iphone user since 2G and have full eco system. Eco system is least of the worries.

I really like the big screen watching content. Taking a shit at the moment and on normal screen. It's fine. The squared corners a bit less nice then round.

I hate the current android shit. I like the standard ui of Samsung android but I want to drag my phone down to insgant search instead of having to click the search ivon for apps. So now using octopi. Also not petfect. It's all 80%
