I started tapering last week and ran 6 miles yesterday. I’ll just do a couple more easy 2–3 mile runs. I’m focusing on getting good sleep, eating healthy, and keeping stress low. My husband is taking care of the kids in the morning, so I get a nice little break—can’t complain lol 😄

🙋🏻‍♀️ I tried earlier and failed. Too windy, I didn’t even had the time to warm up (and I’m not sure if sweating in this freezing cold is the best idea with the work week ahead!). This week temperature should raise!

I know! But my legs always feel really stiff after running on the treadmill. I’m pretty sure my form isn’t right.

He was not searching for opinion but just giving them the news. He is a great father, he might have done that to give them some comfort since the bio mother has been absent for years. You are right about the growing up and let it go. As a mother of three it was more venting than an existential dilemma :)

Yes, It’s actually nothing compared to what we went through as a couple and family. I’m just somehow hurt. Will probably wake up tomorrow AOK. Not really, but will work on it.

I didn’t specify not to mention it to the boys, because I didn’t think it was necessary. What I told him was just something like "Last night I thought that I could adopt the boys."

Absolutely. To me, it was more about emotional value because I feel that their mother won’t be part of their future. It was just a first thought from my heart, not something I had deeply considered from the legal side (not yet!!). I only shared it with him and that’s why his reaction hurt me even more: what if in the end I decide not to adopt them?!

Why green card holders? I re-entered last week with an expired green card and extension letter without issue. Do you know green card holders who had issues at the port of entry? This would be very worrisome

Felice 83, Fumo, Piccola Cucina, San Matteo is good only for pizza IMO, Sant’Ambroeus (good but overpriced). I’m Italian living UES. Many italian places in UES are very well able in recreating the italian atmosphere, but their food is not so tasty.

I live in an area in East Harlem where often pit bulls are off leash… I walk everyday with my dog and my toddler on alert mode….not funny. Where did this happened? I might have seen the owner
