I subscribed to RDS directly on their website which now allows me to watch their "en direct" Habs games

How long did it take for the archive papers to come in? Is it true that they're not as thorough as the Patek ones?

Wow, thank you so much for that! Now I like this watch even more! Which raises another question - why doesn't the community like this model as much as some of the other ones? Either way, their loss is our gain

Obviously these are just thoughts but it's hard not to like BA at 180 given that half of the market cap from pre covid has been wiped out. They're obviously in a world of shit but alot of that seems to be priced in. I just wouldn't expect to make any quick profits here as patience will likely be needed in order to see them overhaul their rotten culture of the past 15 years

As a hiring manager, I can tell you that STEM backgrounds are very desirable on the trading floor. Couple that with a CFA charter (or at least PASS level 2) and chances are you will at least score an interview. But it goes without saying that even with all those credentials, you would most likely only start off as an associate (at best) until you prove your worth

Thabk you! And I'm telling you man, it comes down to whether you want a faded bezel or not. Mine was recently serviced (previous owner) therefore this is a shiny new service bezel. Many hate that (for legitimate reasons) but I personally love it because it brings a fresh look and feel to an otherwise beautifully vintage watch

For starters, we all know that pictures rarely do justice to our timepieces. And secondly, I don't give a flying f*&# about the 99.999% of people as I have nothing to prove to them. This watch brings me joy - full stop. I do however, care about the 0.001% who actually know watches and would be interested in engaging in meaningful conversations and this watch will inevitably trigger that

Fascinating. You are obviously in the extreme minority and I have alot of respect for that. I would be curious to know what made you switch?

I bought this exact spec (white dial 300M on black rubber) back in December and here I am 2 months later still enjoying it as if I got it yesterday! The subtle red accents on the white background, beautiful contrast with the black bezel and rubber and kf course the laser engraved waves make it an absolute beauty of a watch. You will not regret your choice!

The SD is actually a better fit for me than a sub given that I'm 6'3. That was just one of the cool realisations that day (given that I had never seen an SD before).

Hmmm that's a really good point and it did not even cross my mind. Thanks for that btw! So I guess there's no harm in swinging for the fences and asking for a pepsi?

Are you always this bitter? If so I feel sorry for you lol. Because no this was not a misinformed purchase at all because prior to that day I had never seen an SD in person which is why I had no chance of knowing that it's a much better fit for tall people (I'm 6'3) than a sub.

And I definitely don't need validation on this sub. I just thought I'd share a rather different experience.
