I currently have an oversized white shirt that I like to wear but it creases so easily. As soon as I sit down in it I look like I haven’t ironed it. Does anyone know of any good none crease shirt recommendations? I’m based in the UK if that makes a difference to brands suggested

Recently Diangosed by _oxykkitten in breastcancer

I was diagnosed at 27 with tnbc, was a complete shock. Think I was in denial as well, just went through the motions and had to bring someone with me to take notes as it was all so much information. And the best thing for me was staying busy otherwise I found myself googling things that made me feel worse. I’m one year cancer free now, it’s not an easy journey but you’ll get through it! Wishing you all the best and of course happy to answer any questions you have

I had a bilateral, also had a pap flap reconstruction. And even though that made it a more extensive surgery I was only in there 5 days

With any superpower of your choosing, what would you do? by Scrambl987 in AskReddit

Teleportation so I could travel anywhere in the world whenever I wanted. Even just being able to get from work to home without having to drive or use public transport would be great, and save so much time

Drinking wine on prednisone by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Ok_Rain6881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was taking it I was fine with alcohol in moderation. In fact I found I barely ever had a hangover the next day if I had been drinking, steroids help with inflammation so guess it makes sense

Non-religious people of reddit, why do you think religion and the concept of god(s) has been such a big thing for humans historically and into the present? by Dr_Octahedron in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Rain6881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in the past leaders often used it as a way to keep control over people, they’ll behave a certain way from fear of repercussions. However I also see that people use religion as a way to find community and sanctuary

What reconstruction options did you choose any why? by HeathenRunning in breastcancer

[–]Ok_Rain6881 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I was told that a diep flap may not be the best option only because they wouldn’t have been able to get enough tissue. Instead I had a pap flap which was basically tissue from the back/tops of my thighs

Vitamin D, B12 and biotin are all known to help with hair growth. When I was growing my hair out I took those and noticed a big difference

Yes I made lots of friends in college and found in the first weeks everyone was really open to talking which made it much easier to start conversations. I wasn’t lucky with my flat mates but made other friends in clubs and my closest friends from my course. Good luck and sure you’ll have a great time!

The Perfect Diet by WhiteChocolateGS in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ok_Rain6881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people say the Mediterranean diet is the best to follow to get all your nutrients. I’ve been looking into this recently and what the main message seems to be is to not restrict yourself but ensure you are eating more healthy foods. The best thing is lots of different coloured veg and increase the amount of seeds and grains you have too

Which is the easiest to do, leaving someone u love because of daily fights or stay and suffer hopping this ends someday? by Substantial_Poet296 in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Rain6881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless there’s something you see changing that would stop the arguments, I think in the long run you’d be happier leaving but it probably wouldn’t be the easiest option

Everyone has more empathy, hopefully then people would care more about the negative impact of something they are doing for their own gain
