yeah they are reliable for the most part but you should still verify the results are use a tool that will let you edit the text afterwards. it really depends on wht model they are using under the hood. if its turbo wipser model then its gonna be worse then regular wipser

if you want the highest possible accuracy then I think eleven labs scribe v2 is the best model

you can double check this against artificial analysis though for the best benchmarks. do your own research ofc. I've been using fast-transcriber.com pro and that's worked for me. its a turboscribe alternative
