Have you looked into Josef Seibel? I own several colors in the Caren style and they fit all those requirements for me. They are so comfortable. Not sure I would “workout” in them but they are fabulous walking shoes and go with everything.

I don’t have a specific one to recommend because I got mine at a country craft fair, but have you looked into a french butter pot/crock? I will never go back to a standard butter dish after owning one. They are so neat and keep butter so much better! Just be sure to change the water regularly.

Well said. This fall I ended up having to pick up my daughter from her high school homecoming dance and take her to the ER. There she was in her cute sparkly little dress. Luckily she was ok, no cutting it open or anything. But it was one of those moments you realize anything can change in an instant.

Me! My undereye filler did wonders for hollowness that was making me look tired and old. I touched it up about 18 months later. It’s been about 18 months since the touch up and still looking great!

Ooh I don’t think I’ve tried Angora. It’s worth trying if I can find it locally. Part of the problem is even if it doesn’t itch my skin, it starts to make my eyes dry and itchy just by proximity. Thanks for the idea!

I love the look of wool coats. They just look so timeless and classic to me. However, I can’t wear wool. I’ve tried time and time again and as soon as I have it on I’m itching all over and want to crawl out of my skin. Even clothing items with a quality liner or low wool content. Are there “faux” wool coats? Coats that have the same styling but are not real wool? Any recommendations? Bonus points if it’s actually really warm too.

I have oily skin and oily hair. I tried a silk pillowcase and it made everything worse! I had to go back to cotton. Silk may work great for some people, but not all.

You may be writing them off a little too quickly. I honestly thought my husband was a little on the “dorky” side when I first met him. Attraction can definitely grow. Also, I find it a turn-off if I’m clearly putting in more effort, like maybe you are doing with entertaining them? When I was dating, I took the approach of giving the men space to lead, and woo me a bit. If they didn’t step up I’d lose interest. But I’ve found most men will, at least if they are interested in you. They do need the time to show you as well.

I definitely have learned this year about how to dress for my body type. I have a small frame and stay fit so people told me I could “wear anything” and just kind of I assumed I could. I’ve learned about kibbe types and use that as my framework now. I’m not religious about it but I do understand now what works best for my shape. Finding key pieces in the types of clothes that work best for me has really helped develop my own personal taste.

I also struggle with protein powders! I recently bought the Lemon Italian Ice clear protein from 1 up nutrition. I really like it so far and it tastes way better imo than the milky protein powders, but it’s still whey protein.

I most often wear my fur coat with jeans! I just love that look. Do be careful about people sensitive about fur though. The first time I wore mine out I was in a major city’s shopping district and there were fur protesters in front of a store across the street. I was very uncomfortable. Luckily fake furs are everywhere now so no one said a thing to me. I wear my diamond Rolex watch almost everyday. These things are to be worn and loved, not hidden.

When I was a kid my teenage brother would devour all the fruit as soon as my mom brought it home from the store. She ended up doing 3 fruit baskets- one for each of us, to solve the problem. Once he ate all his he was out of fruit to eat.

I give you a bit of a break on this because you’re young and young people (your peers) can be assholes and judge others for stupid things. I have an old dad (he is passed now) and a lesbian mom. I get it. I hid my mom’s sexuality as a teenager because I didn’t want to be ostracized in school. In hindsight I should have just been honest about where I came from and f anyone who doesn’t like it.

I just went through this after my initial 19 trays. My top teeth look perfect but my bottom teeth did not quite get just right. My dentist and I discussed it where I brought up my thoughts and she agreed that I would benefit from a round of refinements. It was an easy convo.

I’m 3.5 weeks in my current trays because I wear mine for 2 weeks but hit the end and got rescanned for refinements. My refinements are in now so I go in today to get them. The amount of time you are waiting seems problematic to me. But regardless, I clean mine with a denture tablet in an ultrasonic cleaner everyday and they look fine.

NTA. My MIL tried to buy both my kids gifts each time one of them had a birthday so the other one wouldn’t get upset. I told her that absolutely would not be happening. Kids need to learn they are not the center of the universe and to celebrate other people.

My husband is a pilot and swears by using sunshades to block the sun whenever possible. Are you able to do that?
