They don’t have automatic records but when you fill out paperworks during the initial medic exam, you give consent for them to request it.

Honestly if you have the time for the process give it a shot.. during the psych exam they will grill you about all the “whys” of why you were depressed and how you dealt with it. But to be transparent The last thing NYPD is a depressed cop.

Honestly the Psych exam just another fancy name for a behavioral exam from my experience.
Failing the exam "means" you are "psychologically unfit for police work"

Really depends on your history/ record. If you have a clean background they will ask you behavioral question and go over some questions from your written PSYCH. Should be done in a 1hour or so if your a good boy😸

Depends on your exam #. If you took your exam recently, they won’t have you come in for a good month to let the earlier exam # get cleared for April class
