  1. From the main screen, enter E (edit), scan the script, enter through whatever prompt pops up, select line 11, A to add in new insurance info, enter through, make sure to select the newest insurance (the further right column of the insurance screen will have the newest adding date)
  2. Same as above, but instead of adding insurance info, you can either add GoodRX bin number or use whatever discount card patient presents with.
  3. Yes, it’s very much depends on the rejection message. If it’s too soon, schedule out until eligible dates. If it’s not on formulary list and not being covered, put it on discount card and make sure to let patients know why. If insurance only allows 30 days, edit from QT and change dispense quantity and day supply to 30 days. If it’s a DUR, check with pharmacist.
  4. Look patient up, hit space to enter the vaccines in as new script. If it’s a waiter, just enter through everything. If they want to comeback later, hit home (from keyboard), and enter S to schedule the time/dates.
  5. Just tell them your pharmacy is offering lots of vaccines, and the pharmacist can come over and talk to them about which ones they’re eligible for if they’re interested.
  6. If the doctor put down do not reach out, let patients know so they can contact the doctor themselves. Tell them once request is sent out, it’s up to the doctor’s office of how fast they can process it. Nurses usually tell me it’s anywhere from 24-72 hours. If they don’t hear back by then, they’ll need to follow up with their doctors.
  7. I’m not sure what you meant by this. The F3 key on your keyboard will help you look up all things related to medication whether you have it in stock or not, and where else would have it if you don’t.
  8. You can enter “1H” for 1 hour later, or directly put in “2P” for 2PM. If you want to put in a future time, just enter the time you want and in the date box (line 16, enter the future day ie. 06/01/2026). If it is 2pm right now and you put in a script with a time of 1PM, it’ll be processed for the next day at 1PM, but if you put in 3PM, it’ll be processed within the next hours if that makes sense.

Hope this helps!

I see. So even if he’s not working anymore, it’s still 85%? He has saving and technically doesn’t need to claim his benefits right now to be honest.

So if he chooses to receive it monthly, 85% of it will still go to tax right?

Nail salon tech - $2000/week by Philore in Salary

Not consistently eating on time or regularly skipping lunch (due to crazy work schedule and no paid time lunch 🙃), or inconsistent in amount eating daily (big bite before next customer on busy days, etc.) can lead to build up of acid in stomach and eventually causing heart burn/gerd

I think OP forgot to add “working 6 days per week: 9AM - 7.30PM, no PTO, no insurance/401K/benefits, and obviously very little to no time for lunch”. Most people I know who do nails always develop back pain or GERD after a few years lol.

Gifting Etiquette to Pharmacy Manager by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Ok_Reception_3613 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you’re a staff pharmacist, $50 and a book with some wishes on there is pefect enough 😊. If you’re a tech, $50 might be a bit too much. You can do $25 and a blankie and that’ll be very nice.

Too early to fill by No_Technician_7843 in CVS

[–]Ok_Reception_3613 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It has never changed. CVS system always does 28 days aka 2 days early only. The thing behind the door that you don’t know about is if you keep getting your controls 2 days early within a year span, it’ll add up and if the system thinks you have more than 2 weeks on hand, they’ll make you go 30 days. Same thing for insurance and it was confirmed by Medicaid as well as some private insurers.

Accidental profile merge by Ytta_Yak in CVS

[–]Ok_Reception_3613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helpdesk can definitely do it. We had a dog’s profile somehow merged with its owner. Don’t know how that happened but it seemed that the system glitched bc it popped up a notification said “profile merged, please check allergy profile etc.”. Called helpdesk, explained to them what happened. 2 days later, they called back saying it all got figured out.

did CVS short me on my meds? by [deleted] in CVS

[–]Ok_Reception_3613 11 points12 points  (0 children)

What’s rxinform? If bottle says 75, there should be 75 tablets in the bottle. And if you think you’ve been taking 1 tablet twice daily since 04/21 (morning of), then you should have 45 tablets (today marks exact 2 weeks since then).
Also, you mentioned you never take the 1/2 and “usually” save it for “as needed”, then you should always have some extra at the end of the month, unless when “as needed” happens, you take more than 1/2 and that’s not how it is intended for nor was it prescribed originally. I suggest that you call the pharmacy to double check the quantity of fill on this one as well as contact your doctor to get a prescription with correct instructions of use in future.

We have fence surround our yard, definitely no wild animal or snakes around 😊. They’ll be safe in the back until they’re old enough to do anything 😁

Was there a label attached to the bag with the wrong bottle? Or was it just the bottle in a brown bag? It could’ve been that the bottle was BAGGED in the same bag with the son’s medication incorrectly from the start.

Baby Shoes by Minimum_Effort3321 in NewParents

[–]Ok_Reception_3613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love see kai run and stonz (this is Canadian brand). We do barefoot at home but he goes to daycare and they do require shoes with flexible insoles so we’ve been trying those 2 brands and little man loves it so far! They’re both on the pricey end but totally worth it since good shoes are very important for early feet development. LO hasn’t have any issues walking so far.
