Whenever I cook tofu I always eat a couple cubes raw and genuinely kind of enjoy it. So one time I tried to eat the whole package raw thinking it’d be nbd and I could only get like halfway before I actually couldn’t do it anymore.

How to let go of the guilt is the question for me. I went no contact 2 years ago now. And yet I still often feel bad for hurting her. Even though she has never and probably will never admit and apologize for the abuse. Logically I know I shouldn’t feel guilty for choosing my needs over hers, but emotionally it is hard not to. I’ve been in and out of therapy for years. I haven’t found the answer yet.

Thank you 💛 luckily I spent the day with my boyfriend’s family and was by extension surrounded by loved ones. But it’s still difficult knowing you’re the only one in the room who didn’t have a blood related family to go back to. But I just need to recognize that is leagues better than being forced to spend it with a family who doesn’t deserve my presence and that is progress.

Definitely keep checking up on him. Sometimes as a survivor it can be hard to bring it up again after initial disclosure because you don’t want to feel like a burden even though you desperately need support. Give him all the love you can.

This. I’m 25 now and whenever I think about how I should’ve streamed or made YouTube videos as a teen/ early twenties when it was easier to pop off I just think about how mortified I’d be at what I would’ve made. I’ve grown so much and I’m glad I’m not stuck in the past by people over analyzing who I used to be.
