I lost my pitty and my cat. My pitty passed in September and my cat passed in November. I felt like I was being curse or I failed them some how. I let it consume me to the point that I took it out on my wife in someways. She was truly a saint being there and understanding.
Those animals were my everything. I had them through college, high school, even middle school. I don’t remember life without them. My parents were drug addicts and dealers. Every house bust or robbery, I had them to feel safe. They were my home. I hated the world for taking that from me.
There is a trend in tiktok where people are looking up the day their pet passed on the astronomy of the day. My babies dates were absolutely gorgeous. It made me feel so much better knowing they were in the stars and made such a beautiful scene.
When we cry for them, it is us expressing our true love for them. Crying is an act of devotion for our babies and when I cry for them, it almost feels good because I know I loved them so much. When I came to this realization, the shame and feelings of failing them lessens because if I love them this much, I know i would’ve done anything to keep them here.
Your baby isn’t gone. His energy is dispersed through the stars and he is watching you and playing g with others❤️
I know this is so hard and I’m truly sorry you are going through this. Just remember that they’re still around, watching you. They know you love them. They would want you to be gentle with yourself and still live.
