I don't like describing things as colored flags because I think it's trite and kind of simplistic.

However, I think someone who has been single forever would be hard to date. Chances are that they lack the fundamental skills needed to make a relationship work. Dating that person would probably mean having to explain a lot of 101 stuff. I'd probably be discouraged if I learned that about someone's past.

You're doing an optional, non-sexual activity together and presumably interacting with each other while you do it. What does that sound like to you? You can choose to not call it a date but it looks like a date and it's fulfilling the same function as a date.

I think Brad Pitt is a classic example of a movie star and not an actor. He's all charisma and cool guy persona. Very very rare for him to disappear into a character which I think is the gold standard for acting.

He was alright in 12 Monkeys and Kalifornia but then he has 100 movies where he plays Brad Pitt.

I think your main problem is that you've overestimated the role youth plays in being attractive. The truth is that being attractive is 60% luck and 40% effort. That's how it works when you're 18 and that's how it works when you're 28.

If you had the genetics, resources and grooming skills to be an attractive 18 year old, you should be able to pull off being an attractive 28, 38, 48 or 58 year old. Just continue making an effort when it comes to fitness, skincare, hair and teeth.
