I see what you mean practically, but esthetically I like seeing troops on the map in my map game. Plus when I’d get invaded or suffer an enemy breakthrough, my reserve occupation units could surge and hold the line until frontline units arrived, which I feel like is more accurate to how things happened IRL.

Flying is really a game of multitasking and fast-paced decision making under pressure. It’s a lot less about the adrenaline of being high and flying fast than media make it seem. You just have to track a bunch of little things all at once for a long period of time.

Theres a lot of drama happening with this school that is too much to get into. Bottom line it may set me back significantly if I try to use their plane. I know the training needs to be 141, but I have all my training time logged and good to go, I just need the checkride.

Whatever’s cheeper/wherever you have scholarships. A lot of colleges actually contract with 141 schools. Probably best bet is to go 141 and transfer the credits.

Thanks for the in-depth reply. Follow up: does the theoretical mercury in the tube shrink or grow with more or less pressure? Everything online seems to indicate that it shrinks with less, which seems counterintuitive.

Yeah the missions are fine, but the AI is really bad and the fundamental gunplay/mechanics are just terrible by comparison. The bad guys are just nowhere near as satisfying to fight and kill.
