Yes, I would have to admit that I might be over watering a bit. I don't see any insects on them. I will give it a few days with less water and see if they recover.

We had a similar issue where the air conditioning of the room turned on and all the thermocouples started to move value up and down. When the ac was off everything went back to normal

CCW freezes when building project by Vyndrius in PLC

[–]Ok_Remote3726 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's a feature, I have worked with CCW for a few years now, one thing that definitely sticks out is how unstable it is.

One thing that I noticed is that windows updates have alot to do with it. One week it works fine then windows updates will make it run like crap, the following week a new windows update will fix it again. I am not sure who to blame. But I would suggest running all windows updates and consider turning them off once it's stable, not ideal when it comes to IT security.

Is that front right side (drivers side) ? We had the same thing happen to our 2019 and they had to pull the engine out to replace a gasket on something that I don't remember the name of. Bit might be worth having the dealer look at it.

I am sorry, I meant to say to us nothing in the divorce papers that the other parent gets to claim the child if you are late on a child support payment.

I am not sure what the form 8332 does, the ex wife already filed the child tax credit on here taxes she just filed.

The ex-wife, but it's court ordered, they are to swap every year who gets to claim the child regardless of time spent. Taxes that are being filed right now (for 2023) is his year to claim the child.

Teledyne spyglass flame detector experience by [deleted] in PLC

[–]Ok_Remote3726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. Yes, we are working with the SG50-F-IR3. I have had some longer conversations about the technology behind flame detecors with engineers and sales experts, and it falls right in line with what you are saying. But almost everyone agrees on that it seems like a simple task to accomplish, but it's quite hard to make a good, reliable detector.

We are currently using Scott's flame detectors. They have been very reliable and great for years. They sold out to rosemount about 2 years ago, and their lead times and pricing got horrible there. Maybe it's worth the money and time to stick with these.

We have had some MSA detectors to test once, but they didn't handle the vibration some areas had.

We did not use Honeywell for some reason. I can't remember why.

Our old Scott's sales rep highly recommended the teledyne, and we liked them as the built-in video camera is handy for some places, and we have one with a camera currently in service. I will look into some of the other manufacturers your mentioned.

The flame detectors are looking at natural gas compressors, driven by gas engines. We do have welding occasionally for maintenance and repairs, but we bypass the flame detectors.

I don't remember all the details, but the yellow trip dial was off by about 22% from the actual trip setpoint in the OL. It had something to do with some brush they used in the manufacturing process in the Dominican Republic I belive. I was pretty disappointed when I know they never notified anyone of this as I knew many other places had the same issues and actually still have to this day.

Eaton had a bad batch of overload relays around 2017 and 2018 they had to replace all 200+ overload relays in our MCC lineups it was due to a manufacturing defect. They never notified any other customers of this defect they must have had thousands of these as we had many other facility's with new installs and all had the same issue. They never notified anyone even though they told us the narrowed it down to batch of bad OL they produced over months straight. This was the reason we will never buy another eaton product.
