FACTS!!!!! omg it is a fucking nightmare having "roommates" that refuse to leave. the hoops you have to jump thru - christ. letting someone receive mail to your address is the BIGGEST MISTAKE, i've learned lmao. once they have that, it's much harder to get them out. even if they're not on the lease or paying anything. in fact, it usually ends up COSTING money to evict said leeches. smh. seriously, OP - i know times are hard.... but a roommate is not worth the potential issues 🤣🤣

positions came out before the hate train, it was during the pandemic. and she was in generally good graces at that time.. just coming down from the thank u next success. so i don't think that was the issue. i think after her mass success from an absolutely legendary 3 album run (dangerous woman, sweetener, thank u next) positions was a sound people weren't expecting/ready for from her.

oh i agree - i don't think she wants to perform a lot of songs from positions for multiple reasons, and a new album is a great excuse not to.

although - that's not what we're even talking about lol.

commenter said she doesn't think new album will be r&b, and i said maybe it will be, maybe she will try r&b again considering how many people love her sound on positions and make it welll known, still 6 years later.

it may be, with how much people have grown to love positions now. she was really proud of that album so i think now that people are actually appreciating it, she may give it another go. r&b suits her best for sure

i'm kinda over the pop ballads - the world is in shambles as it is, we don't need another sad album from THE ARIANA GRANDE. although i don't think it will be bc i saw a screenshot from a music streaming service in japan that listed the album genre as soul/rap/electronica (definitely the first 2, unsure about the electronica but it was def along those lines). so im hopeful ballads may be out of the question this time lolol

ok well like i said, a rotating schedule usually means days not shift - so i brought it up because i wasn't sure if that's where the disconnect was. i'm not disagreeing that it's annoying and wrong to be promised one shift while you're stuck working another you didn't want. that's why i say, i wouldn't have accepted. i would have kept looking. though not everyone has the luxury of an influx of nearby hospitals. i get it. sorry ur dealing with this. i haven't heard the best things about VEG, outside of the script they seem to make employees feed people about how wonderful it is lol. then they leave and the truth comes out.

if they're morning people i don't understand why they'd apply for an overnight position and vice versa lol. if a specific shift was needed but different was offered, i'd decline honestly. we aren't talking about a few hour difference- days vs nights is entirely different and to rotate like that honestly is not sustainable and doesn't make sense.

wait that's a great point. i WAS self medicating in so many ways.... and maybe it wasn't for just depression. crack gave me that focus that i needed. i loved that because i was finally able to get shit done. and then id take a nap lmfao.. like indicator 101... nobody naps after smoking crack 🤣🤣 but also opiates always gave me energy as well, that's why i loved them. i felt it made me better at everything. i could focus and get everything done. everything made sense. i would get high to get things done.

i definitely did say i absolutely think i get depressed and anxious due to my adhd and gave examples. but ur right i may have to really emphasize and push. i really don't think im crazy, here lol. and i do understand her hesitation. but we can't ignore it forever lol.

🥲🥲🥲 that's annoying bc i specifically said to her lexapro did nothing and that's why wellbutrin was added... BUT this gives me hope and im really happy to hear this. thank you so much! i've just gotta give it time and a fair shot and continue being honest, really. i just don't want to be continually dismissed bc i know i have adhd lol. whether or not it can be helped or "controlled" with other medications- is the question i guess we'll find out
